    I just attended shoonya,didnt practice vajrasana,aum chanting and sukha kriya(20 min each),consequenses i faced are extreme exhaustion and fatigue,so dont make this mistake, who wish to attend this program,i really underestimated vajrasana,for first timers it causes excruciating pain

      I've completed inner engeenering few months ago and was thinking to go for shoonya.
      I'm doing a process of closing my eyes and just witnessing my thoughts and I can do it for 45 mins-1 hr
      Can I do it specially after completing my shoonya slot?

    I'm an Isha meditator (attended Samyama and Samyama sadhana few times) and full time volunteer in the ashram from 2019 to 2023. 20 min Sukha Kriya and 20 min AUM chanting is done not just for the "pleasant" experience during the program, but to bring the body (all five sheaths:) to a most conducive state for the Shoonya initiation. To practice Vajrasana, start with putting as many pillows you need on the floor and in between your thighs and calves. Slowly reduce the cushioning with time, as you get used to. It may take a month or two or more, depending on your body.

    What helped me alot in dealing with pain was to become aware of the pain, where in my body is the feeling and then i asked myself, who is experiencing? There is no answer to it! Suddenly the pain is more bearable than before. Love and light ❤

      I mean Sukha Kriya and Aum Chanting will be done in Ardhasiddhasana during the program. So best to practice it like that. But you could do it in vajrasana as well. Initiation not necessarily happens in vajrasana. Personally I would just sit in vajrasana after food, during leisure, when watching tv or similar.@@sreensrichannel31

    That is all true well said on this video. Progress will depends on each individual capabilities of experience. Lucky are those who have taken this Isha program that they have this proper guidance. Having this huge opportunuty and easy access on their journey to self transformation.
    The first most important is about how to train to be conscious that our spine is always erected no matter what we do. This is the most crucial starting point on progress. That is why all of the exercises and sadhana is so important.
    As a Roman Cathiloc, I was never been in any of the program or got initiated by any Spiritual Master. Likewise with Sahadguru's childhood years, I too have so many questions in my head that nobody can satisfy with all of my curiosity. Everything changes in my later years, that I was so fascinated about the Hindu and Buddhist history and traditions.
    By my own initiative with some guide of spirituality videos and references. It almost took me about 10yrs to achieve some progress because I was not properly guided on my spiritual journey.
    Now can stay for almost 1hr every day and can sit properly still on my meditations. I can't really explain, but what I feel is so pleasant in everything around me everyday.

      I also have done zero of the physical aspect of Yoga and have completed Shambavi on weekend of 4th Feb 2024.
      I'm proud of you my friend, I too keep going despite the discomfort and pain (I come from a lot of generational and past trauma) so the Shambavi accelerated the purging (puking, shitting, crying, raging, nausea) that I was already in the process of releasing, but I am determined to complete my 40 days and on going after this.
      I have never, even as a child, been able to sit cross legged with out immense pain, but slowly and surely the hips are opening and more is being unlocked and unblocked.
      I am now entering the third week and will complete 40 days on March 15th. I am having to wake at 5.30am to complete the two practices and still attend to my job and other commitments. I can say that it is transformational, subtle but powerful.
      I have always been very intuitive and psychic and have been lucky/unlucky to see and experience other dimensions, higher and lower and the Shambavi has made my intuition/abilities even stronger.
      Keep going, you are awesome and few people can do what you are doing, go from complete amateur and leap into something so complex. Blessing & Love to you, you will be successful, the Creator will support you all the way as well as the the Great Master Sadhguru. Remember he is with you in more ways than you know, this still makes me cry. I love him, he's the best. @@IshaYogi50

    How long are we expected to sit in Vajrasana? And can we use support? I have been practicing vajrasana for 20minutes everyday and I don't seem to get better at it. Sukha Kriya and Aum Chanting 20mins, piece of cake. Its the Shakti Chalana Kriya and sitting in Vajrasana that I contemplate the most.

    • @TwistedReality108
      @TwistedReality108  11 місяців тому +1

      There is an alternate version sitting on a chair for people who have had a surgery lets say or similar. But it is not as powerful or effective. Shakti Challana takes anywhere between 35-45 min. The time increases the longer you practice. You can use pillows for support. And they will teach you how you can take a 20 sec "break" sitting in Vajrasana without getting out of the posture that can help. Just keep practicing dont worry or overthink it.

      @olema4994 fortunately it has. I have been practicing shakti chalan kriya for some time now and it has completely transformed my life.
      I am averaging around 50mins to 1hr of Shakti Chalana Kriya. It's hard to explain how. When we were in Mahima going through the initiation process it just started coming on its own accord. Such is the blessing of Isha Yoga and Consecrated spaces. If you are eligible, work on the preparation sadhana really hard and give yourself to that process. When you get there for initiation just let your doubts go and what you need to participate and be in the sadhana will come.

      Hey! Thanks for your message. In the Program I was volunteering for there were 2 blind participants who couldn't "see" the instructions, the mudras, the way to sit but still they went through it and with Grace now practice it. Also recently there was a Volunteer who only had one leg and he also got initiated into Shambavi as is practicing it now. And lastly one lady messaged me some time ago asking what if someone doesn't have 2 hands and even for that there is a solution. So truly it is up to you. If you are willing to invest time in yourself then solutions will come. Begin with Shambavi, don't worry about doing everything at once. Just do one thing but do it completely. I think the offer for Inner Engineering is valid only 1 or 2 more days. So register soon!

    Approximately how much time daily should be planned for to complete Shamhbavi, Surya Kriya and Shoonya? I've done Shambhavi for years, scheduled to learn Surya Kriya in October and hoping to do Shoonya next year, but I don't want to sign up for something that I won't be able to fit into my daily schedule. Sukha Kriya and Aum chanting daily is required for Shoonya too?

    • @TwistedReality108
      @TwistedReality108  4 місяці тому

      Shambavi takes 21 min + 10 min Preparation approx.
      Surya Kriya 1 Cycle takes about 10-15min.
      Shoonya takes 2 x 15 min a day.
      Shakti Challana Kriya which is part of Shoonya takes around 30-45min depending on the depth of your breath.
      Yes Sukha Kriya and Aum chanting daily is required for preparation for Shoonya. Hope this helps!

      No you can't merge it.
      You can do Sukha Kriya and Aum Chanting any time, no need to be empty stomach - but it shouldn't be right after a meal either.

      It is said that any spiritual practice should not be done during the midnight sandhyakala (20 minutes before, and 20 minutes after midnight) for people who wish to live/are living in family situations. That time is not supportive for people who aren't monks/brahmacharis/sanyasis. Also, avoid doing practices when the temperature is high outside as this can generate too much heat and damage the system. Other then that any time is fine. But there are times that are more suitable such as the other Sandhya Kalas. Hope that helps!

      I was wondering if this question would come up 😃as you've seen in the video it's a very simple asana. My wifes father sits like this naturally without knowing its an asana as such 🤣 but as Sadhguru said, every posture is an asana but some were identified as more suitable. So you can just see a picture on google and follow that, we sit on our knees.You can try touching your big toes while sitting but in the beginning that might not be possible so try and see what works. In Shakti Challana Kriya your big toes have to touch and there should be a gap of 4 fingers between your knees, that's pretty much it in terms of instructions for how to sit.

    • @TwistedReality108
      @TwistedReality108  9 місяців тому +1

      A month of preparation is okay. If you can set aside time to do Shambavi + 15 min of Sukha Kriya and 15min of Aum Chanting everyday. If you are not able to set this time aside then doing Shakti Challana Kriya after being initiated will also not happen. Since it takes 35-45min for the practice. If you're not able to commit to that yet, then it's not the time 🙏 whenever you're ready to commit to this time you can go 😊🙏 hope this helps. Preparation shouldn't be skipped.

    • @TwistedReality108
      @TwistedReality108  11 місяців тому

      You could go for it, you'd just have to wake up early during the program (between 5 - 5.30am) in order to get the practice done before the daily schedule starts. During the day you'll be doing one guided practice together so you have to do one by yourself. Since it will already be an intense program/process, you might want to be done with the Mandala before. That's my opinion. It's not official guidance. First establish one practice before going to the next one, that's my approach. Especially because it will prepare your energies. But it's up to you 🙏😊

Because as of today, Sadhguru doesn't do the initiations anymore but trained teachers do. That being said Sadhguru is not limited to his physical body so his energies are there in any initiation.

      I agree with the comment above. Whatever you do if you do it with 100% involvement and devote yourself to it then you shall reap the fruits. It depends upon each person which Meditation will personally bring the most or quickest transformation, some people, like myself, need more than one push. So Shambavi in that way was a good preparation but I was not receptive enough at that time, only after Shoonya initiation did I really get that push. But again it's different for everyone.

    • @TwistedReality108

      Well in Germany the most popular techniques are Mindfulness Meditation where one pays attention the the breath which feels more like trying to control the breath and trying to do meditation and the other is Transzendetal MEditation which is repeating a Mantra and again its trying to do something. What my experience of Sadhgurus MEditations is, it is not something that you do but something that you become. And the tools that Sadhguru uses are not his own tools but come from the Yogic Sciences he just put them together suitable for where human beings are right now in terms of their consciousness. Thats my perspective, nothing has worked for me as much as his techniques thats all i can say
