I was curious why do you use the daily dividers on midnight instead of 6pm when the PO3 of the daily candle starts. Or you consider the daily PO3 to be in relation with the true open instead of how the actual daily candle looks?
True day open start at 12AM EST, from this point we can anticipate what kind of daily profile will unfold. Depending on what Asia Range did, we can determine low or high the day.
I use higher time frame analysis before making trades in my The5ers prop challenge.

Lol I can't understand people who uses high time frames to top down analysis but prefer to enter on this bs of 15m/5m why not enter on H1 or even h4, swingtrading is real trading, scalping is just random bs gambling you are right in your vision and reading, understanding of the next 3 days movement on H4 but you prefer to give a choice to risk, fail your move just to do a 1h trade on the Ltf. That's just impatience. Go to the 3days trade, that's the real trade, the real opportunity market is offering. 🎉
in this scenario the trader still made 5% thats a win in any trading journal. Position , swing, day, or scalping are all valid trading methods tbh. Different characteristics for different traders
@@libralove1388 no, because in high time frames is easy to understand, read the mechanics, but when you start to "break it down" until 5m you are fueling the math with a lot more variables in the game. Go see a move on 4h chart, it's the exact same move in the 1h chart, just some more data points to describe better the move.
But when you go to 15m it's already the same move but you can break each 1hr candle in 4 candles
But it's the same move
On 5m you will break each 1hr candle in 12 candles
That start to be nosing and messy cause 12 candles are enough to create a push and a retraction or even a "cup" pattern
But you will put your SL based on this "cup" on 5m like going to some 5-10pips
But the original move on 4h, break down to 1h
Would need a good 30_40 pips to be safe
Resulting on the price disrespecting your SL on your cup on 5M and respecting a 35 pips SL on H1 and after that moving forward as you predict on the 5m for the next 1 hour
But to get a good 3R trade, if your SL was 40pips should catch a 120pips move and this will waste you 2-3days maybe
But with a high protective SL and a unbelievable win rate
Then after 3days you hit your TP +3%
No need to dive down on 5m just to be stopped, complex the things isn't the gold way, the sweet spot, the holy grail is always the simplest one.
People are stressed, hitting many times SL, almost doing a 30% just win rate
And still being on these 5m charts
But as you mentioned is just a "traders choice"
I prefer to repeat the top millionaire swingtraders
Not a bunch of 99% losers scalpers
But each one do their choices
