Funny you should mention that every time I pictures Xebec it's always him looking like Snake Man Luffy, without the Steam and armament haki of course.
i prefer to think Dragon is indeed Garp's biological son, and the reason he became a revolutionary against the world government and celestials, is cus he somehow heard the story about his father fighting with Roger against Xebecs, after that he wanted to know more about Xebecs and eventually find out he wanted to destroy the entire world government and conquer the world, but he only took half of Xebecs ideals and mix it with his own, instead of destroying the government to conquer the world, he would wipe out the celestials to bring true justice to the world

One possible addition to his is also Akainu calling Luffy's bloodline cursed, if I remember correctly. Of course this could be seen as just describing him as the son of Dragon, but I don't think calling an entire bloodline cursed if two members of it are criminals makes sense, especially if Garp were to be Dragon's biological father, who in this case should show it isn't really true.
However, if Dragon was indeed Xebec's son, then the cursed bloodline comment would make so much more sense, with the entire male line for three generations being dangerous enemies of the World government. It would really justify Akainu's hatred for Luffy and Dragon.

Interesting theory. However, for now, I only believe that Dragon inherited the good parts of Rocks D. Xebec's ideals, and isn't a direct descendant of him.
I would love to get backstory of Monkey D. dragon I think he wants have freedom and for the people not be in slaves to the celestial dragon. Dragon show equality toward and races that felt unwelcome in society by the celestial dragon. Xebec want to be too be king of the world and place fear into people. I truly think Xebec and Dragon both have different ideals how they carry themselves.

I think its possible. One thing about garp is that he adopts kids of really strong pirates that were caught or defeated in battle. He pretty much treats those kids like family and is happy to raise them. So, he might have done the same with dragon. Garp is known for taking down really tough pirates, but some of these pirates do have kids. Wasnt the kids fault.

I'm really liking this theory but after realising that there was THREE PEOPLE AT THAT GOD VALLEY INCIDENT THAT HAD RED HAIR, I might differ!
Also let me say I don't think Luffy is Dragons son either simply for that fact the Garp has had a history of adopting children that was not his own and basically hiding their identity from the world and the world government! Garp in the sense of how he handled hiding Luffy shanks and sabo until they were adults shows his level of secrecy!! I've always noticed too that Luffy is almost never compared to Dragon ; rather most people compared him to Roger when seeing his character.. Plus if you look and the comparison with Ace and Luffy to Dragon and Roger, it's clear Dragon's serious demeanor resembles Ace attitude (which seemed to cost Ace him his life by him seeking too revenge too much) and Roger's idea of Freedom and flamboyant attitude resembles Luffy!!
I'm one of those who saw the resemblance between Rocks and Dragon, and immediately I thought they could be brothers instead (with Dragon being his younger brother! And I say that because going back to the THREE PEOPLE WITH RED HAIR at god valley point; I think (given that we know Rocks was actually going to retrieve something precious they stole from him) that Rocks went to get Shanks his son from his wicked farther who took the opportunity to take shanks as the new heir to the Figarland celestial family. This could have been looking at the theory with Rocks being the bastard child of a lowly woman Figarland took, who sonehow fled the holy land and became a pirate ever since to revolt against the celestial dragons!.. And i think what Roger told shank before his death was the fact that he was not shank biological father, and about Rocks being his real father, how he found shanks and how he had to kill Zebek who Roger later discovered was actually just trying to reunite with his son. This theory plays well into the ultimate reason why the world government who Roger helped at god valley years later turned on him and deemed him the most wanted man: because he learned the truth about not only the void century but also the true nature of Rocks D Zebek and why he was at god valley! That's why shanks cried like a baby after his convo with Roger!.... But we'll have to wait and see.... Who could have placed shanks in the chest?? I think garp already confirmed dragon as his own son in aokiji's early training flashback. So it could be that it's dragon's mother who is directly related to rock D xebec rather than dragon. Bcz not always children get his father's looks. Luffy is dragon's biological son but looks nothing like him. So, could be dragon got his looks from his mother's side and Garp has encountered rocks pirate many time so could be that he met dragon's mom in that way who maybe didn't like pirate life or against it. Rock D xebec had the best leadership who led a whole bunch of yonko's of today’s pirate era, so from that perspective dragon also has that leadership quality from his mom's side and the free spirited quality from his dad's side that led him found the revolutionary armys.
While I agree that luffy and/or dragon has some conenction to xebec, the idea of dragon not being garp's blood son is stupid. why would garp even say that he's his son? and why shed more importance on luffy's mother? Oda already said shes not important
