For so long the sleeping giant of German football in a City yet to truly represent it’s wonderful people in the best way possible, Hertha have made a catalogue of errors in the last few years. Led by the tech guru Lars Windhorst, who has his own shady past, they have hired big name Sporting Directors like Jurgen Klinnsmann and more recently Fredi Bobic and spent huge amounts of money, and struggled to retain players let alone improve.

Great video giving more of an insight into my German Team. Went to Berlin to watch them play Bayern about 5 years ago, probably last time there was a full stadium!
untrue, Hertha reached the UCL. Hertha was in the UCL back in 99/00 when they reached the second group phase after eliminating Galatasaray and Milan. Barcelona & Porto knocked them out.
Weird how they missed that
Hertha BSC played in UCL in 1999/2000 Season though, even went out of the group with Chelsea and AC Milan that year ;)
The one last trophy that Hertha won was LigaPokal in early 2000s.

Somewhat disappointed in Dougie and EFD for not calling it 'What on Ertha is going wrong at Hertha' but great video nonetheless.

I'am a stoke fan ,
I am more fearful of going into league one than hopeful of a premier league return .
We sell our better players seems like we are fearful of removing another manager dispite poor record and no proven club success .
It wont shock me to see us ( stoke ) fighting to stay up in the 22/23 season and that league as become even harder escape from forest , leeds , sunderland didnt return first time of asking

Fredi Bobic is the most overrated sporting director in the Bundesliga. He only had one successful spell in his career (Eintracht Frankfurt) and was bad everywhere else. He has no long-term vision of what to do at Hertha at all, the managerial appointments have all been a disgrace. Keeping Dardai for so long, getting Korkut, getting Magath.. Bobic is continuing the tradition of bringing in (at best) bang average coaches with the hope of achieving bigger things.
Bobic didn’t create this mess. Preetz Windhorst and Klinsmann did . So stop
@@LPTR93 Klinsmann was just a bad coach with a bad attitude and Windhorst spend hundreds of millions to get the project going. Bobic is surely one of the people who have messed up the most.

I got to watch hertha 3 times live. Twice in the Olympiastadion and once in Saint Petersburg Florida for a friendly vs Frankfurt
They tied all 3 lol I’ve never seen them win a game but at least I haven’t seen them lose one either which by HERTHA standards is insane 😅
Union Berlin has good management despite they have tight budget and no big data analysis to recruit players.

That is a very common phrase. It is not like Alfie from HITC was originator of the phrase.
Have you ever considered that multiple channels may cover the same subject matters at around the same time?
Doubt we'll hear you chirping up at sky news because they're showing things that have been covered by another news outlet.
As for the 'what on earth is going on' grow up you wet wipe, it's a well used phrase
@@SuperBeardWill yeah it’s a well used phrase but as far as football channels he made those types of videos first and we all know that. He gets way more views and it’s an obvious attempt at trying to catch up
Hey Chris! As I said to another person who commented, I’m not sure anyone can claim ownership over a phrase! You don’t see us complaining when other channels use our titles or titling style… it’s inevitable in a congested space. I’m glad you enjoy HITC Sevens, hopefully you can enjoy both.

I’m not sure anyone can claim ownership of a phrase! You don’t see us complaining when other channels copy our titles or titling style… it’s a congested space, overlap is inevitable.
