Can you use it to record you camera's screen when taking pictures? Or is it only for video? If I wanted to show someone what I see when looking in the view finder will it record?

Thanks for your review, I needed this info. But this only records in 1080p. What camera are you pushing into this monitor, only a 1080p camera? If you shoot in 4k how does it feel not to have that resolution recorded? OR are you also saving to CFExpress cards in the camera? I saw a guy using this with an old Canon EOS 4000D or Rebel series at the last event I went to. I asked how he liked it. He mirrored what you said about ease of use & operation. He did not say it was 1080. I need/want something that records 4 to 6k. I already own/like the Livepro L1, so I know the company.

How long can you record a single clip…does it stop when you stop it or does it start a new clip on its own after 24 minutes or so…and, this is loop out right…? So you can use it with a switcher or another viewing source correct…?

Recording time depends on the capacity of external storage media, for example 1-hour live broadcast recording takes up about 1860M of memory.
