Nicole Morgan "The 1% Family"

Nicole Morgan is excited to be joining the cast of That’s What She Said. Nicole is a mother of 3 (2 stepchildren Jasper, 24, and Julia 21) and a biological son Maxwell, 11. To complete her family she has an amazingly supportive husband, Jason. During the day, Nicole is a mom on the road driving her son around town to school and various therapies. She also has her own business, Mama’s Little Shop, bit.ly/MamasLittleShop2012 where she makes sensory friendly children’s clothing and crocheted critters. At night, Nicole has been seen on stage with several of the local community theaters - most recently as Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd, and as Mrs Paroo in The Music Man. She has also directed and music directed many local shows with performers ranging in age from elementary school through adults. Nicole received her undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University in music business and her Masters degree from the University of Illinois in Opera Performance. Given all of that it only makes sense that she is very much at home in the arts of Champaign Urbana.
Nicole's life is a balancing act of IEP meetings, therapies, rehearsals, her small business, family and the occasional unexpected crisis. In her family they joke that every group has it's own Mafia. Being a member of the Special Needs Mafia, Step-parent Mafia and Small Business Mafia (just a few among many) have changed her perspective, and hopefully she's a better human because of them.
