As a child I loved this movie. But as an adult, While I still love it I’ve learned many things that have tainted my memories. Also if you listen closely you can hear the pug whining on the rock. Poor little guy is probably terrified.
This is one of my favorite movies, I remember humming the opening song a lot. I had no idea this was set in Japan until I got older. Also, I'm pretty sure there are scuba divers there in case something happened, and people behind the scenes. Why do people assume there's animal abuse in movies with live animals?
I think this movie taught me not to discriminate against anyone. I saw a cat and dog be best friends, a turtle save a frog, and a cat frolicking with a deer. Taught me anyone can get along.
@@waltermoldren4991 yes I am very sure I know someone that was at the filming of milo and otis no cats or dogs or foxes were killed nothing was abused or harmed the only thing was a thorn accidentally got in Milo's paw nothing was harmed or killed.
@@WaterGotHandles i heard that all the animals were treated like gold but that the pugs were insane and just went to town on the foxes. I heard that there were so many fox carcasses that they made fox pie and are still eating leftovers to this day.

When I was a kid I loved that Turtle, "Well now, you know."
Cool. 👍
Pug dogs are benevolent, curly-tailed little angels. Basically, they are real life pokemon.
You've never been swarmed by them in large numbers. They are vicious monsters.
a beautiful sample of friendship or at least good relationship between animals, is so cute.

One of my favorite parts in the movie, Iove how it switched back scenes from Milo to Otis.....
Now that was one really cool turtle!
What turtle isn't cool well I guess the vicious snapping ones
@@fantasticnerd7978 They can still look cool as long as you do not touch them!
I’d never thought a sea turtle would help out a dog
Apparently it's a movie also the turtle you can tell from the way he's talking he's annoyed 🤣🤣🤣
Love this movie :)
Love Milo and Otis 💖💗💗

It might’ve been a green screen. I can imagine how they would’ve gotten a pug on a rock
That turtle 🐢 is the 5th ninja turtle.
Soooo cute!!!!
Oh not again, everytime the tide comes some fool gets stuck out here -3-
Otis wasn't sure what this turtle wanted.

Location is not the usa, it's in Japan.
How could it be Japan when we see animals you'd never find in the wilderness of Japan?
I remember this movie.
Milo and Otis's tortoise part 2 was the same one they used in Cannibal Holocaust.
No, this turtle was too big.
bro whats the riding the turle scene song like the hawaiin song part😭😭
That song is called "L'Elephant" and it's part of Camille Saint-Saens's "Carnival of the Animals"
2:29 was that a hand
BRO!!! It was a creepy looking one too!
Excuse me, uh please?

eleven foxes died to make this scene. the pugs kept killing them.

This series absolutely disgusts me. More than 20 animals died during the filming.
First of all, we don't know that for sure.
Second, this is a movie, not a series.
Third, if this movie absolutely disgusts you, then why are you here?

There has never been any actual evidence of animals being killed during filming.
