I have flown this plane several time,s it fly,s beautiful it will do any thing you want it to do.If any body is thinking of getting this plane its a keeper..You will not be disappointed.
+1976axerhand The gear is holding up great, it's pretty heavy gauge wire with plastic covers over the wire. I've flown from the pavement in this video as well as heavy, bumpy grass with no issues.
As long as you are proficient with the apprentice and ailerons/rudder use you should be fine. The retracts arent going to be as forgiving as the gear on a trainer in a hard landing. A couple friends of mine went from the apprentice and the sport cub into this plane as a second plane and have done well with it. It is a very stable and predictable plane just like the smaller version.
Sounds good. I haven't actually flown yet. I bought the apprentice which should be here any day now. However, I've been killing it on the Phoenix 5.5 sim. I fly it in advanced mode and I find it pretty easy to fly, but I know real world will be quite different.

THAT has got to be the smoothest landing i've ever seen. Nice job. Shame we couldn't see it a bit closer
Looks fantastic I gotta get me one of those.i already have the carbon z cub so this one has to be next
Getting ready to buy one of these. What's your thoughts on it? Beautiful flying
+TheLosiracer It's well worth the investment, it flies as good or better than any wood built up warbird I've flown. If you get it you'll love it!
+Lee Morey awesome. Thank you very much for the response! Getting it Monday. Can't wait!!
Nice one.is the landing gear strong enough or is it plastic? Thx glenn

+Lee Morey thanks lee......
Thoughts on this as a 2nd plane coming from an Eflite apprentice?
