  • Nak Muay Training had the privilege of sitting with the Head Coach of Minotaur Gym, Lewis Taylor as he shares his story of how he got into Muay Thai, the origins of the gym and how the sport has had a huge impact on his life.
Minotaur Gym is based in Kings Langley (United Kingdom), rich in history, filled with passion and an environment based on family.
The gym was founded by Paul Taylor in 1993. Paul spent a lot of time training and fighting in Thailand and when he came back he noticed there wasn’t any Muay Thai gyms down south at the time so he started teaching classes in 1986, fast forward 7 years later - the Minotaur Gym was officially born. Paul has produced some of the UK’s most decorated fighters, a true pioneer of UK Muay Thai.

    This is so cool.
Lewis really has a way with words and articulating his point from different angles. Really liked the bit towards the end "good repetition breeds good habits."
