Go for Avocado farming only if you have adequate amount of water for irrigation. These trees doesn't like dry soil, you have to maintain moisture in the soil throughout the year.

Avacado soaks huge amount of water. In Latin American countries it is single factor responsible for lowered water table. For country like India, which is already struggling for water, this crop will prove a curse.

usually avocado oil is made from the pulp, not the seed.... and most of the times the produce which is not sold in the market is used for oil production
Any non native plant when grown on foreign soil has a potential to become an invasive species and replace or contaminate the native plants. However in India it seems we only care about money and not about preserving the environment and native species which are more adapt to the climate . Look at other countries where you can't carry even a single seed of any foreign plant unless there is proper licensing and environmental impact checks are done
same checks are done in india too. There is a department called the Plant Quarantine department of India, it checks what is allowed in India and what is not. After that, they do visits to make sure that the plants are in quarantine and are okay. I have all the licenses. Avocados were not native to India, they were brought during the colonial era, and have spread around south Indian coffee farms. I am just intruding better yielding and more commercially viable varities
