- Someone hit my garage door recently so broke one of my hinge and bent several panels.
I purchased this 27pc Hinge and Roller kit online for under $30
Having an impact driver will speed things up a lot.
You will need either an 11mm or 7/16" socket for most of these hinges.
Be cautious on the orientation of the hinges. They should be mirror like from side to side. - Навчання та стиль

The new roller shafts can benefit from heat shrink tubing that further reduces rattle. I have watched videos of people wrapping the shaft with dbl sided tape and then sliding heat shrink tubing over it before using a heat gun to finish it off. FYI

Great DIY video! I would recommend a bit more lubrication than silicone. My garage door hardware supplier sent along a metal parts lubricant/corrosion spray for the hinges and bearings only. The nylon rollers should roll easily inside the tracks without lubricant. Thanks!

What's the purpose of a half hinge on a garage door? Is it just for when you cant physcially fit a full hinge because of other stuff on the door? My top center hinge is a half hinge.

Whoever installed my garage door before I bought my house had all the roller hinges screwed up like this. My top panel is all bent now from the opener ripping the connection point out of the door after it got stuck.
Very helpful, I was looking for a video about how to replace the bottom seal and I ended up getting to watch this one.
Why you replaced just the wheels but not the brackets on the bottom, is it because the tensioner cable is attached to them and makes it a little more complicated or dangerous to remove them, or it's just because is not necessary; ( I found myself this part of it a little more difficult ), also I've heard that your not supposed to lubricate the wheels at all, this can remove or dry out the existing grease lub. Thank you for sharing.
Chalk, Thanks for your feedback. I didn’t change the bottom bracket because it wasn’t part of the kit. I wouldn’t have mind changing it thought if I had it. The tensioner cable can be removed once the spring is locked in place. As for lubricating the wheels, mines came dry and it made the rollers more quieter once I sprayed it down. If they were prepacked with grease I would have left it alone. I hope you found your video for the bottom seal, I’m still shopping for one myself but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Those can be slid out when you have the garage door open so the bottom is at your eye level. Prespray the seal with lubricant because 7ft of dry rubber can have a lot of drag resistance. Maybe I’ll make a video about that in the future.

Amazon has the entire kit available depending on the size of your garage door. If you want individual pieces you can buy them as long as you know the number code of the hinge
