- Unfortunately AutoZone's experiment has ended. The reality is that many car brands were pulling their repair information off of AutoZone and coverage was getting thin. I believe AutoZone made the decision that this was no longer helping bring in parts sales and removed the repair information from their website. You can still get their excellent repair information (you have to pay though) from

Thank you for showing us a way to get a service manual. I shop there so much I have had $160 in credit money that I spent in 2019. Unfortunately, they did not have a service manual for my 06 RAV4. Good job though I have been searching for a service manual for this SUV for a long time now and haven't been able to locate one. Still, a thumbs up. You are helping many DIY enthusiasts get things are done right and no worries about the dealerships service center finding an obscure broken part that was working fine until they got their hands on. Awesome resource for some... did not have either of my vehicles though so somewhat limited (2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and 2013 Mercedes Sprinter 2500).
Could not find any for the Toyota Avensis D4D 2.0 diesel, I guess only in UK :(. But thanks for sharing

They don’t have a 2009 Pontiac G5, in the old days I used to go to the local town library and copy off the reference Mitchell’s. Now they have removed the books and don’t have an equivalent online replacement.

Checked my 2008 trailblazer, 2002 BMW, and my 2017 Ford fusion and the didn't have them. Not sure what they have after three strikes gave up
Worth a shot, but the site states - there are no manuals available at this time. This includes 7 vehicles I entered. Is there actually any repair info available? = Yes, they have many videos available for general repair. Good Luck!

A resource that many have forgotten since the internet came in and that is the library. You can access Mitchell's information for free with just a library card. Be sure to take your camera or you may be going back many times for another look.

Does this include detailed (OEM) wiring diagrams?
You should be able to enter your engine serial number into the website of the company that manufactures it and get free wiring diagrams

I did as suggested but after I entered info it stated " Sorry, there are no parts available for the selected vehicle: 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L MFI SC OHV 6cyl."
Michael, once you add the vehicle, click on "Repair Help" dropdown and select "Vehicle Repair Guides" I put your car information in and see all the repair guides.

try Saankramer Electronic Magazine System (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my m8 got amazing success with it.
Yup I had it for several years,but they deleted it cause they were losing money on people not buying the books anymore.

Also, yes something needs to be done about getting info without paying a ton of money & censorship on the right to get repair information. Word of advice...stay away from anything that says "for free... xx.. unless it's a fast food coupon !
Actually i couldn't find my country among the options given: Canada, USA and Mexico. My country is Chile and I live there. Well I had to write Mexico and I was accepted. My goal was to have a 1997 - Toyota Starlet manual repair. Just found a Tercel. Well thank you anyway.

Video sounds so promising, but in reality the AutoZone site is worthless. I tried inputting a dozen different vehicles, from '80s through 2000s; they have nothing for any of them. If they had a searchable index , you could look for similar vehicles they do have listed, and maybe get some helpful info that way. But their system prevents that.

Nick, Thanks for the update. It sucks but what AutoZone is doing in the end will probably end up hurting the industry. The old phrase "Nothing in life is free" applies here in the long run. More and more manufacturers will catch on and pull their vehicles from this free service.

I don't believe the Matrix/Lavita was sold in the US. It does have a lot in common with the Elantra so repair information for that should get you close for drivetrain and suspension.
thanks to those that replied. i knew "bugger-all" when i started out. with all the bits of inputs and knowledge gleaned from all you unselfish guys and those on youtube, i stripped the lot down. listing every move precisely down. one thing i found differs from the elantra and the accent timing belt replacement. all said the engine must be supported and the engine bracket removed. that was not the case with the matrix. the harmonics bolt i removed with an impact driver designed for ladies to remove their wheel when flat. it is powered by 12 volt battery and delivers 250 LB punch. when replacing, punch twice for corect torq. good enough tool for the handy man mechanic. next on the list is the fuel pump and filter under the rear seat. martin
Awesome news Martin, glad the job got done. Having done a few timing belts, it's never easy and having a service manual is absolutely essential. On my last one (Acura MDX), I had to give up on the balancer bolt and take it to a garage with a 1" impact to get it loose.

I am not impressed and it took a long time to get into the info. You have to enter vin, mileage, mileage rate (whatever that is), and lic plate number.
And then the wiring diagram for the cooling system is small with just a few lines drawn.
It might have been worth it back when you first posted this vid but not any more.
autozone only tell you replace part procdure not to show you how figure out the problem !

I assumed phishing simply because there is no logical reason to sign up for anything based on the very title of this video.
You are passing something off as a free "no joke" download, yet first one must sign up.
That sign up is in fact a cost. Even if it is not a monetary cost.
Everyone with an email account knows exactly what comes after signing up as you require.
Thousands upon thousands of unwanted and unsolicited phishing emails and various junk.
Happens literally every time one signs up on virtually every website on Earth.
Perhaps that is the joke that supposedly does not exist?
To avoid accusation of phishing, include "sign up mandatory" in the title. People hit google first.
This video showed up in the results based on the terms entered into the search.
This video was NOT the solution that was actually searched for.
And that is due solely to the deceptive title I believe was specifically chosen for a key reason.
To deceptively draw in viewers who will sign up just to have their email address sold to the first buyer.
If I am wrong, prove it and I will fully admit I was wrong.
But I find it suspicious that MANY others here have mentioned your lack of manuals for a lot of vehicles, yet you remained silent until someone hits upon a rarely spoke about aspect of today's internet experience.
You not once asked them which vehicle they were trying to find. And I'm not talking about the ones who mentioned a specific vehicle either.
Why the silence until this very moment? If you have helping others as a desire that is.
Why did my suspicion draw you out yet so many others actually asking you a question remain ignored?
