Deep in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico is a place of wonder and awe. A realm where you can submerse yourself in a different reality where few people have ventured. The underwater caves and caverns of the Riviera Maya are a spectacular sight to behold. It is a place that should be on every diver’s bucket list. There are two things that are essential for a safe and successful cave dive: a battery-operated dive light and a guideline. The guideline is a small rope that divers follow during their time in the cave. It is their lifeline. Cave diving is one of the most dangerous things you can do. But as long as you have a light and follow the guideline, you are safe. Rich are the lessons and deep are the discoveries made in this unique underwater environment.
