I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I actually enjoyed and played more hours of DS2 than I did of 1&3 combined and it’s my favorite of the three. Build variety and PVP are unmatched. This brought back great memories.

@@enlil2763 dark souls 1 PvP is jank, dark souls 3 PvP for the longest time the meta was just straight swords and spells in general aren't that good. In ds2 the PvP is pretty consistent, almost any weapon is viable to use. Hexes, sorceries as well as miracles are pretty viable as well
I have watched all of the DS2 Oro's Arsenal videos on repeat for YEARS. Just every once in awhile, going through the whole playlist again. So today, I saw an Oro video in my recommended feed with a DS2 thumbnail and I was like, "Yeah I'll watch some more of his old vids again." And as I went to click on it, I saw the upload time, "3 hours ago." And then I read the title. And I went, No way! Maybe it sounds dumb, but this is one of the best surprises I've had in an extremely long time. Thank you for the video, Oroboro. Loved the content for years. This throwback is just another I'll rewatch for years to come.

YES, I found this mod too, it has completely revitalised this game for me and i've been enjoying the pvp so much recently becuase of this mod's excellent wex dust integration. Now we just need it for Dark Souls Remastered / PTDE.
@@enlil2763 His phase, combat is more about strategy. What i meant by that is to not miss your attacks, manage your stamina well and panic roll doesn't work like in ds 3.

As a person doing some PvP content on DS2 myself, I cannot stress how happy I am that the game still has such an active community. After suffering through the drudgery that was DSR's PvP, DS2 feels like absolute sex.

DS2 will always have a special place in my heart. While my first souls game was demon's souls, DS2 was my first true online experience (I played dark souls 1 last). Co-op with friends for hours on end, invading, brotherhood of blood and fight clubs. This game gets a lot of hate but damn if I didn't have the best memories from this game out of all the souls games. Also hexes and miracles in this game were amazing.

I've been playing dark souls 2 on the Xbox since the 360 days and have been playing it ever since. But it's good to see the orobobo to return back to Drangleic after so long.

Man, this gives me an insane wave of nostalgia. Dark souls 2 may not be the most popular game in the franchise, but it was my first and I will certainly never forget it. My friend talked me into getting it since he played DS1 & it was the best decision I made. Watching your videos while trying to beat the game was such an awesome part of my summer that year & I will never forget the jokes and good times I had with my good friend while doing so. Thank you Oro, for everything over the years.
When I use Santier's Spear Double Hand R1 attack, they dodge it perfectly... But when I just Single Hand R1, they walk right into it... Not that Bosses care about DHR1s since most bosses with high physical defence can ignore it... Although, it's a good weapon to dual wield with Majestic Great Sword with the Stone Ring. Just be careful of faster weapons and being poise broken.
Try my second favourite build, a powerstanced bleeding infused claw build. Hosts are panicking so much as soon as you combine r1 cancel with the bleed proc. It's so much fun.

Blue acolyte mod is such a god sent man, it really has revitalized the activity in the game. You can pretty much invade non-stop if you wish to do so. For blues is even better because now it is more frequent to find invasions using the blue orb. Before you would be lucky if you find someone to invade. Glad that this made you come back to the game too. As many other people have commented, your ds2 videos were always my favorite. They were pretty much the reason I still play the game to this day because they taught me so much about everything pvp related. Thank you for still uploading stuff to youtube Oro.
