I’d have to say Expedition Everest, it was such a great evolution of Disney’s rollercoasters and nothing has really touched it since. Hoping Tron will follow suit as an evolution of space mountain!
Almost everything in the MK is engineered for families or younger people. Tron is exactly what you'd expect to be built. Nothing in the park is necessarily thrilling, but almost everything is classic. No one cares what another iteration of Tron half way around the world is like, few will ever ride that iteration, few even know of its existence but hardcore theme park geeks.
Hearing your little mermaid clam cram made me remember how 2 friends and myself actually DID stuff into a haunted mansion buggy. Can confirm, it was not a fun experience. It felt like i was going to fall out of the left side of the vehicle and the handle bar contorting my foot was the only thing keeping me safe...
I know international theme-park travel isn’t an option for most people. I’m not trying to sound snobby. I’m also aware that China, Japan, and Singapore have very different cultural expectations than the United States, and the parks may not appeal to many U.S. visitors. However, the coasters at Universal and the dark rides at Tokyo Disney are better than anything Disney has built in America in years. I rode Tron in Shanghai, and it was so short that I wondered if Disney would improve the ride time for expectations in Florida. Obviously, the answer is No. The reality is, just like Cosmic Rewind is a spinning coaster surrounded by screens and loads of Internet Hype, I found Tron to be just kind of OK.
IP plays into the ride a lot for me. Sure, it took forever to build and it's essentially a new version of an old ride BUT, I love me some Tron. So the overall IP and theming matter a lot for my personal enjoyment. We live about 2 hours north of Orlando, so we'll be heading down there very soon to ride it for ourselves.
Hollywood Studios doesn't need more rides, because Star Tours is an endless amount of rides!... Though it's skewed way too much in favor of the sequel stuff so you'll probably get more redundancy than you should.
Could Pecos Bill turn into An Encanto quick service? Love y'alls discussions, currently in the stages of planning some park visiting in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
While it’s cool to have another coaster in Walt Disney World, I think this coaster is just fine. It’s fun enough, but definitely won’t be waiting the insane wait times this ride will get to ride it again. Also to bring the attraction and make no improvements or lengthen it or anything just does not sound right. It’s fun. It’s a fun ride. However, it’s not extremely impressive or anything innovative, and it still leaves a lot to be desired. 6/10 ride imo. At least it looks pretty at night.
I am looking forward to riding in late April. But I really wish the Enterprise logo was not on entrance signage. I know they have a sponsorship & I am ok with that... it's just that it's on the entrance signage. Every time someone takes a pic there and posts it to social media, they will be advertising for Enterprise. Not the biggest deal... just nit picking.
Cosmic Rewind is a fun ride, but I found the pre-show to be cringeworthy---and when I was there in December, the CMs directed us through a bypass hallway to the loading station because I guess that transforming room broke down---so I totally missed that part. My favorite Disney coaster is Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain, with its charming entry, rock candy mountain, animatronic tortoises and coyotes, and nighttime beauty.
I hope they don’t re theme pecos bill to tianas palace. It one thing thing having a New Orleans ride in Frontierland I don’t want to exit from country bear jamboree into New Orleans
What's your favorite Disney coaster?
Space Mountain as of right now cause of the nostalgia and queue and area music... Can't wait till I get to ride Tron one day thou :D
Expedition Everest, it is the perfect mixture between theme and thrill

Everest or Space
Everest and Big Thunder!
(Haven't been on RNRC, Tron, or Cosmic Rewind yet)
Had a great time riding with you guys! 10/10 would get digitized again
6 years for an updated version of a coaster that opened 24 years ago but with a lot more LED effects. Bravo Disney!!
in those 6 years energylandia in poland built 16 attractions inc a world class RMC
in those 6 years universal created 2 world class roller coasters and announced 2 new parks.
@@shamrock6975And Super Nintendo World in 2 countries!

24? 2016 was not THAT long ago

0:00 that is an accurate excitement because we have waited the longest time possibly ever for a disney ride
Alicia would you say cosmic rewind used to make you panic.....at the disco?

The appetizers at Tony's were really good when I went in winter, I loved the toy box tomato salad. The entrées were okay.
Thanks! I want to try the mozzarella sticks!

I like hearing that guardians gets better I've only done it once

Just went a few days ago and the same thing happened to us! I thought we were going to be kicked off the ride entirely.
@themeparkstop One person screaming on a rollercoaster sounds like toad screaming at the lady Gaga concert lol
This is the most accurate description.
Finding out about the forbidden journey compartment 🤯🤯🤯
What do the different colors in the ride mean? I heard someone mention team blue and team orange
We’re always Team Blue, and the ride makes it look like you’re racing against Team Orange. But it’s always the same.
Wait I work at universal how did I not know about the forbidden journey pouch??
After 5 years for a duplicate ride, including all that time it knocked out the WDW RR. Disney gets no credit for Tron IMHO
I love how, long after Google Play Music has died, you still advertise the podcast on there
Keep the hope alive lol
My calf HURT after. Anything over a 18 inch calf is screwwwed. So much waist room but man any big legs are not fun and cut off circulation
My husband is 6"4 and skinny..he will be fine, right?
Yes.
It's what on average, only 55 seconds long?
1:15 from launch to last brake run, exactly the same as Rock n Roller Coaster. 90 seconds including time from final brake to unload.
Crystal prison is never fun. It is such a tightly packed restaurant
I hope they don’t re theme pecos bill to tianas palace. It one thing thing having a New Orleans ride in Frontierland I don’t want to exit from country bear jamboree into New Orleans
It's taken Disney so long to build this clone of an attraction that I lost some interest in it
more we lost all interest lol
An hour of talking and I don't think either of you answered the one thing I wanted to know:
WAS IT FINE????
I’m pretty sure I said it was fun 18 times. Ian said it was fine three times.
Fine? Never heard of that word. What’s it mean?
@@ThemeParkStop OMG, did you actually count? Video would be great with a counter lol
@@iank7941 I googled it... It showed me pictures of the Tron coaster.
I'm excited to ride Tron, but not excited to walk past the awful smells of Tomorrowland Speedway.
universal is laughing at disney
