ON THE TOPIC OF FULL SAIL, I live right near the place. I am currently a film student at Valencia College, a state college down the road from Full Sail. In Orlando, Full Sail has a nickname, "Full Scam." They're great at marketing (it's a for-profit school, they have to be) but not much else. They over charge their students tens of thousands of dollars for literally the same experience, equipment access, and projects film students at my college get. Most of their students are overwhelmed with unnecessary debt most of which will never be able to dig themselves out of. Students from my school can work on Full Sail projects and vice versa. The students from Full Sail even admitted that they don't have access to some of the equipment we use regularly. Here's the point, if you're in Florida and you want to study film or really anything creative that Full Sail tries to sell you, do your research. I guarantee their are better options with programs on par with (or better) than what they offer. It's a "For-Profit" school, teaching you isn't the most important thing, it's getting your money.
Yeah, I went to a for-profit school straight out of high school. I was an ignorat 18 year old whose family has never gone to college before so I bought what they were selling. The first red flag I should've seen was how they approached me and really wanted me to go there when I had shit grades and pathetic gpa in high school. That school stole ten years of my life. That's the amount of time I spent paying the debt I accumulated for a degree that means absolutely nothing and didn't get me a single job in the field I was "studying" for. Greg and Tim really bought their sell too apparently, without doing their research, which is a shame.
It was quite alarming to hear all the praise coming from the guys on this, for profit education is extremely bad. I work in game dev (and previously vfx) and have had dozens of colleagues over the years who attended and have had to overcome crippling debt that Full Sail left them and have nothing but regret from going there. Greg says they're not praising it due to anything to do with the sponsorship but they literally flew them out there for an event that is carefully orchestrated to dazzle influential people with how great they are so they return home to spread the word, it's working exactly like they intended and they do this every year.
Hey Tim, remember when we met at Tokyo Disney TWICE?! What a crazy day. It was my honeymoon and I a looong way from home(Seattle). I walking around Tokyo Disney, Tim and Co. walk by and I’m all “Was that Tim Gettys?” And my wife was like “who?”. It was the best.
Ive been to Disney World twice in my life, once when i was like 12 and most recently at 27 with my family for my nephew's second birthday. I was dealing with a lot of stress and depression before trip and while in Disney it was the happiest i've been in a very long time. And now I want to move down there in a year so i can become an annual passholder and because Orlando has a ALOT of creative job oppurturnities.
The pickle at the movies thing has been around for decades....girl i was dating back in the late 90's would always grab one at the concession stand when going to the movies and im in Indianapolis Indiana
Did anyone else think for a second that when Greg said "That's why I'm going to put Billy Ray Cyrus on this show one day" and then said "and now, a word from our sponsors," that Billy Ray Cyrus was going to just be there doing the ad read? Just for one fraction second I thought it was going to happen.
When I saw Brightburn two random guys sat in Dolby which is reserved seating and sat in seats that weren't theirs... twice haha then went to the front area and sat haha They were probably doing a double feature experience.
Well we know who not to count on if something pops off... Lol and I have a pitbull and greatdane, neither of them would hurt a fly unless you messed with me or my family... If you are playing with them though it is like Nick said they are both strong as hell and knock you on your ass, I have shoulder problems and my greatdane has jerked my shoulder out of socket playing tug-a-war with him.. he is strong pulling things lol
Tim's story reminds me of so many crazy stories on the MBTA orange line (and its stations). One cold Sunday morning, I was taking the train in to get to church. There's constantly debris blowing around in the air, so especially as visual artist, I've taken up wearing sunglasses outside. I'm standing on the train, just waiting for my stop, and some guy goes walking through the car accusing me of molesting his cousin because I'm "a white guy in a coat and sunglasses". I had no idea who this guy (or his family) are, and was just trying to get to church, and certainly didn't molest anyone. He stands inches in front of me and continues telling the rest of the train why he thinks that I'm a child molester For moral, legal, and psychological reasons, I knew to not show ANY reaction when facing this guy. Don't show aggression because that's going to escalate things, and don't get passive because it would make this guy all the more confident. With my glasses on, I just stood up straight, lenses going straight at the guys hairline, not letting on that I was keeping my optical focus on the guy's physical actions. To a bystander's credit, a man sitting a few seats away with his family eventually said to this antagonizer "Hey, man. You can't say stuff like that here.". I just stood up straight, not making eye contact, until sidestepping around him, getting off my train, and walking over to my church's Sunday service. The other story was one where I was a witness (who called 9-1-1). I used to work for Whole Foods, and nights when I closed, I would usually be getting off the Orange line at either 10:34 or 11:04 depending on how quickly I could run from my store to North Station. I get off the train, and will be waiting at Forest Hills for 26 minutes at least (after 9 pm, the only bus that goes near my house leaves the terminus at the top and the middle of the hour). As I'm reading a trade paperback, I see someone making a stabbing motion at a man who (in turn) backs up a pace. They keep going in a circular path, and a crowd surrounds them with their phones up saying "I'm no snitch.". Typical for Forest Hills after 8, there was NOBODY in the information booth at the station's atrium, and the nearest employee was likely downstairs in the office by the subway platform. Considering that if nobody calls the police, this going to get worse for the victim, and if anyone sees me call the police, it could worse for me, I carefully stepped away to the nearest corner, and crept down to the lower busway, and 911'ed the situation. Shortly, I hear sirens, I wait for 10 minutes, and come back up to my bus berth. The rest of the week, there was a staffer at the information booth that late at night, but years since the stations, gone back to not having anyone up and alert that late in the center of the station.
The reason why people who are meh about Frozen bash it is to bring down all the people that like Frozen that say it's the best Disney movie of all time ever. It is very clearly not. It's fine. It's not the best thing since sliced bread that everyone made it out to be when it came out.
I have AMC A list and my girlfriend and I bring pickles in all the time. AMCs in Texas are a hit or miss when it comes down to it. Andy I'm gonna send you some pickles. I know you are missing them.
Movie ruined by horde of homeless, Tim almost gets his box cut and pit bulled, and Nick just missed gun-point bathroom visit... Sorry was the entire podcast focused on Florida?... Can't wait to visit SF next year lol

I suffer from the movie hall laughter case in almost every Marvel movie. I think its because the movies are ultra popular, even here in India so I guess people feel the need to understand all the humour? So most of them end up laughing all the time, even when a scene is not that funny and its clearly fake laughter. It annoys the hell out of me man.
The fact that nick tried to tell a story he wasn’t apart of his hilarious 😂😂😂
The KF podcast has been absolutely killing it recently. Loving it!

@@JarrodDavely The kicker is Tim saying he's not a fan of our country's college system and his answer to fixing that is for-profit education. Smh.

I've been waiting for the story that causes Nick to walk out since KFAF. Lived up to the hype
Andy: "Theyre like a brother-sister combination"
Tim: "Hot"
Replayed the "old town road" bit about 50 times, in absolute stitches "it's that fuckn song" 💀💀💀
Gotta give it to Tim for having enough clarity during that to grab the lady outta harms way.
I think that this was one of the best KF Podcasts in a while

Not even 5 minutes in and it’s chaos. This is gonna be a good one. Lol.
Its always funny hearing them say "who wears shorts? It's 60 degrees. It's freezing" Hahaha I'd only wear shorts if it was 60 degrees every day
As soon as it is above 50, it is shorts weather up here in upstate NY
@@MaydayBomber yep! PA right here
Nick is definitely Michael Scott😂
Papa nick with the ad read today? I guess I won't skip through it, Nick's old town road story killed me
Im 3 minutes in and its already complete chaos
I love Tims story.
Never seen a pickle at a movie theater; never considered popcorn and pickle as a movie going snack.
That pickle-corndog looks awesome! I’m with Andy on this one.
Greg I can confirm I have seen pickles in showcase cinemas in Massachusetts
