mary loumanizer is very very metalic, but i quite like it on my eyes! its a gorgeous shade regardless but this new highlight looks sooooooooo good! this looks like a more wearable version especially for my olive skin! thank you for sharing!!

Mary-Lou Manizer is the queen of highlighters! I have never found a highlighter I like more than that one. I NEED Cindy-Lou now! It definitely looks very different from Mary-Lou, but it looks like the perfect highlight/blush for the summer. Your cheeks look glowing:) Does Cindy-Lou remind anyone else of the Estee Lauder blush in Tease that all the gurus kept raving about?
I noticed the same thing! I was applying the product in my bathroom and couldn't see it well on me cheeks, so I kept putting more on. Then I looked in the mirror near a window and saw a ton of product. Now that I know to use it sparingly I absolitely love it
What you're saying about natural light is so true. I've done that some days with my concealer and I see that I haven't blended it quite as well as I thought I had.
Emily it looks very good on you. I have both the Tiki and the Mary Lou from the Balm. And you are right about the Tiki being less shiny than the Tiki. I do have to be careful with both because in day light they look very bright and shiny. Thank you for this review like always so helpful!!!
I love Mary Lou Manizer, but i don't use it that often. It's a bit to shiny for daily use for me. But this one looks beautiful,and it looks a bit more subtle for daily use, i want it! :)

I'm a fan of The Balm blushes, they are insanely pigmented (I have to use a stippling brush to apply them otherwise I look like a clown) and the packaging is so cute, sleek and compact - easy to store at home, as well as easy to travel with. Because I'm so pale, I can't pull off champagne or golden highlighters or even bronzer. I don't think I'd be able to pull this one off either. I would LOVE to see The Balm come out with a highlighter that is a pearly/opalescent colour. Basically a cool toned highlighter. I would be all over that!

This looks realllly similar to my favourite highlight, Soap and Glory's Glow All Out. It has a pink tone too, but it's very hard to use too much, and it doesn't exaggerate pores.... I don't know if you can get it in the US but if you can I think you'd like it, Emily x
The highlighter looks so pretty on you Emily! The only thing I have from the balm is their timebalm concealer, I think its time to try something else from theBalm.
I usually use the MaryLoumanizer as an eyeshadow because it's so intense as a highlight. I'm going to look for that elf brush because I've been wanting the sigma one. Thanks Emily!

This looks stunning on you, Em. I just got around to buying Loreal Visible Lift Blush in 701 Rose Gold and I love it. It gives a subtle highlight to my cheeks and almost reminds me of this new producy byTthe Balm. I bet there's lots of dupes for this. I would love to see a dupe, if you have the time. xoxo Kat
It's looks really pretty on the cheeks. There so much product in those compacts especially when you use so little. You know when you get a lunch size portion at a restaurant? That is what I wish theBalm would do. Make lunch size portions of their highlighters.

Good review. Some well placed illuminators are a good tip for aging skin like mine. Also, thanks for mentioning the alternative ELF brush to your high-end 1st choice brush in your review. Most beauty reviews mention the high-end brushes they use for a look, but not everyone can afford high-end. A couple here & there that deliver an outstanding performance is Ok, but I'd rather spend my money on good skin care.
This was such perfect timing Emily!! I just saw this on The Balm's Instagram and was thinking about ordering it but was hoping to find some reviews first! For some reason I just KNEW you'd be receiving this from The Balm as I know how much they love you!! And you have 100% turned me into a Balm fanatic to say the least! AND on top of that, my local Khols now carries the entire line (with the exception of skin and hair care, boo!) and I almost fell on the floor and DIED when I first saw the entire line in person! I did some serious damage the first month, haha! But I made sure to save my Khols cash so I got some awesome deals! Thanks for sharing! Xoxox

You should do a review on The Balm's Plump Your Pucker lipgloss. I remember in junior high, when The Balm was still at Sephora, this was my favorite lip gloss! I would get it in bubble gum, but it looks like the don't make that flavor anymore. It would be neat to see if they were still as good as I remember and you don't see too many reviews on their lip products here on youtube.

It does show up on you as a "bronzer" type product. You look tan. Pretty! Probably a blush for lighter skin tones.
