I love these vids because I play Elden Ring to take a break from always going back to Skyrim or Fallout 4 LOL! Great vid, keep up the great work! ;)
Just a few quick thoughts on the video for anyone struggling:
1. Mt. Gelmir is _West_ of Altus Plateau, not East. Once you cross the broken bridge, take the eastern road until you hit the first fork that curves south-western, and follow it from there. Not a huge deal if you know the area, but if you're new and following this guide then you could wind up in Leyndell instead.
2. If you're having trouble consistently getting the Rotten Breath off on the Fallingstar Beast, you can grab the Poison Mist incantation from the Weeping Peninsula; it's on a scarab just north of the poison pools. When you jump onto the mountaintop, make sure to land on the raised ring of stones around the edge, and carefully go along them until you're behind the Beast. Sneak up right behind him, and cast Poison Mist. It causes no poise damage, and doesn't aggro him even as he takes damage. Takes two casts to proc poison, you get 4 casts per full FP bar, so you'll need at least 7 flasks. Takes about 15 minutes to whittle him down, but it's 100% effective.
3. The jump in Volcano Manor for the +7 Somber Stone has been kind of patched. They either added a wall or changed the ledge's model. It's still doable, just really annoying now. What you want to do is be at light weight, have no weapon equipped, get a running jump aimed directly at the right corner, and do an R1 punch right at the height of your jump. It may take a few tries to get it, but it is doable.
4. Another good Talisman choice would be the Carian Filigreed Crest, which you can buy from Iji after doing Blaidd's quest in Limgrave. It cuts the FP cost of weapon skills by a decent chunk, 25%, and for a build based on nothing but spamming skills it's worth a look.
5. If you hold the Meteorite Staff in your left hand, Gravity Bolt gets the increase to gravity magic's effectiveness. I don't think it gets the full boost, since it's supposed to be 30% when casting gravity magic, but I've definitely noticed an increase.
6. If you're comfortable with the traditional RTSR setup, using the Red Feathered Branchsword and Twinbird Shield and simply spamming from range isn't a bad idea either.

I appreciate this. It is quite hard to experiment with wacky builds in this game due to the cost and rigidity of the upgrade system. Thanks for taking the time to do this Fevvy.
you need to find the bell bearings, they let you buy infinite upgrade materials its very easy to upgrade lots of weapons and there are tons of respec items in the game so you can try out lots of builds on one character
You can get infinite stones up to +9 and +24 with bell bearings and backing up your save before you respec. It's very easy to experiment...

I keep trying other "OP from the start" builds, but I don't think anything will compare to cheesing the Full Grown Fallingstar Beast, getting his jaw, and then steam-rolling the entire game. Thank you!!!
I think you can further upgrade this build if you use the meteorite staff, it's not hard to get, has better magic scaling and you can use it with your current stats, also I think it would fit in the gravity theme of the build.

For those who have trouble killing the Fallingstar Beast with the rotten breath:
You can grab the poison mist incantation and when you jump up with torrent jump right and on the very edge of the arena and the boss won't aggro.
Then sneak up behind him and poison him with the mist and since it dosn't stagger the boss it won't fight back at all.
Be careful not to overlap casts or you may run out of FP the first poison happens in 1 cast everything after takes 2 and 6-7 dlasks will be enough.

Does he have like an immunity period time after the ticks cause some double casts were not poping the poison and I was right behind him sometimes it was taking 3 just to apply after the first two initial double casts.
Love seeing some ER builds. It's also a nice of change of pace from all the "SECRET OP HIDDEN" builds flooding UA-cam currently.

Man, I don’t know how you defeated the Fallingstar Beast at such a low level, even by cheesing it with the rotten breath. I’m trying at a higher level, and it’s repeatedly kicking my ass.
Edit: and of course, right after commenting, I manage to figure it out and take him down :)
You can always try the poison cloud cheese
I agree this is not working at all I even land in same place as the guy in video and this thing does not get hit by cloud and fall over I think someone did major editing to video to make it look like it works but in reality it does not work
@@tedsmith8892 it does work, I was able to do it until I only needed to land two more rotten breaths, the only hard part is actually making sure it all hits him, not getting too close, and avoiding the laser beam
@@tedsmith8892 I am getting back after I beat it, i was able to beat the Mf with the strategy but it took my at least 100 or more tries, it is 100% possible just super super super hard to do it correctly since his attacks are random and most kill you from a long distance

@@crushcommando8637 same. Daggers are pretty lame in this game but I’m positive there are weapons that would make an easy substitution

Bro THANK YOU. this build absolutely Carried me and helped me get to a point in the game where I can easily swap to other fun builds but as a base this was amazing and took me around 5-6 hours to get
i just started elden ring, mostly because i saw his videos on elden ring and wanted to try it. so i got it, and i beat the game in less then a week with using this weapon and putting most of my stats into vigor and strength. i saw this video a long time ago so i knew this weapon existed. had to look up the location bc the map is too damn big lol. im on ng+ now, im switching to a faith build since they look kinda fun.

The only thing bad about this video is I’m getting lost everywhere! You said where to go but you make it so it takes me a while to actually find that place. Also you never showed where to find the maps so I don’t know exactly where I am on the map

Incredible video, thank you fo getting me back into gaming Fevvy. I haven't played in a few years but following along that blood knight path was a blast. Should the blood knight continue to level up into arcane for more damage when leveling to say, 250ish? Also are there upgrades to the shield or weapon out there down the line or is the end of the video best in slot stuff?

Cool video man, I wouldn't have thought about using poison and scarlet rot to defeat a boss to get their weapon early, feels kind of cheesy to me, but at least you didn't use the broken, "unlimited magicka mage that spams soul stream or whatever its name is now" method, keep up the videos man, I myself have taken inspiration from your much older videos, and I'm gonna do a similar thing but in Elden Ring :)

Bro at first i was a little skeptical bc u used it only on low level bosses but I decided to try it out bc godfrey the firet elden lord on ng + is kinda tough… but it worked first try with my mimic 😩😩
Mimic makes the build so good because you are almost untouchable
