Love when the game makes it easier for you. I personally would have probably have gone for the 3:1 port, but I'm a novice. Orange was weird with the pincer movement.
I completely agree with what you said at the end about skill and luck, the difference in ranked and unranked is insane. When I played my placement matches I won all 5 in a row (and I consistently sit in the 1600's) just playing off the fact of how differently people play in unranked, basically going off of getting high resources with a decent port cuz people don't talk/trade as much, or OWS cuz people don't hardly play it in unranked, and getting crazy trades cuz they're not paying attention or don't realize what I'm doing.
Yeah I’d love to see what your win pct would be in unranked with a large set up games played. I had around 60% with over 100 games. But not great in ranked probably around 25% which is a testament to skill and that there’s levels to this game.
Can you explain your reasons behind kot pointing left to 3:1 at the beginning? Im curious what your thought process was 😊 Seemed like a strange choice considering even if someone beats you too it you still get the 8 wheat potentially
Not gonna lie but these players were obviously far less experienced. Weird placements, weird roads. No Devs. And yea what was the purpose of that lobster formation?? Haha
I think Orange felt the only way they win was to get road, and they were worried about Blue's side by side giving them a shot at stealing road. I think the roads to block 8 Ore were sound, because they diverted a lot of Blue's road building off to the 5 Ore. But the rest were a bit silly.
Orange was always gna lose road. Greens placements were bad, and blue going for the 5 ore was just a waste and wayyyy to slow. 2 average and 1 awful player, ez win
I've said it over and over tho. OWS with 3 knights /2vps/1 mono is perfect dev card luck. Like maybe road building. But if I was OWS and could pick 6 devs I would pick the above. Especially in this high wood/brick game where you could coordinate trades.
Hope i can see Dandy pulling off the lobster formation someday
I like the unranked games idea to highlight how skill can really be consistently shown to succeed.
yeah the "there is no such offer" bug is finally gone. it was a painful few weeks lol
Haha fax
I love all your thumbnails lmao, rip robin williams

Been seeing a lot of ows lately which is very new for you haha! Fun to see
There might be a reason for that… 🎉
@dandydrew no way has dylighted secretly been the one playing in your videos?? :0
"I look forward to hopefully not seeing it uploaded"
You didn't give them a chance hahahahaha
GGs, WP! Not my best work, but had a good time playing.
I've been using your tips and I'm at 1600 after 30 games with 44 percent win rate. Hope to square up against you some time.
Amazing job!!

What’s up DandyCrew
YOOOOO!

It was about flexibility to play off the wood port if the ore gets taken
All these videos are from his last twitch stream...
I can't believe they let you dev so much there.
winning by miles with mono unplayed is absurd
