It really shows how strong of a person Leonard is, in that he can forgive his mother for her toxic parenting, while acknowledging that she likely doesn't deserve it. This is the only way he can heal, and move forward.
Yeah. It reminds me of my friend who also grew up with a mother like that. It did take longer though because her mother was even harsher and physical abused her too but yeah.
It was still poorly handled. It also shows how much a full penny was to try to get close to Beverly when she’s a complete total bitch. What Leonard should have said, was that he gives her but completely kicks her out of his life and tell her to never reach out to him again. That would’ve been better. Chuck Lorre has a stupid thing for that, and it’s part of why his shtick just… got boring, and worn out.
@@marilynsobel7414 Not really. No. They took forever with the moment, and Beverly got away with way too much shit for it to be considered satisfying. Very, the writer should’ve made Leonard tell Beverly that he’d never wanted to see her again. Penny was also a fool for falling for manipulation; she only got close to Penny to continue to study Leonard. That’s one of the things that pisses me off at the writers. They never support Leonard that in the last season. Pharmaceutical sales job was a mistake because it made more like Bernadette. The last four seasons are SHIT.
When the elevator worked in the finale it was the greatest thing in the finale it’s just a shame we didn’t see the gang use it together because they only used it for their luggage
Yeah. That made me so happy too and I related to it so strongly because my own elevator was also coincidentally fixed on the exact same day that that episode premiered and it made me laugh my ass off because I watched that episode shortly after getting my own elevator fixed.
I’m honestly shocked that the moment when Sheldon announced to Penny & Bernadette that he wants to give Amy ‘coitus’ for her birthday and Penny breaks her wine glass in shell-shock isn’t on this list! So epic and understated!
Howard's mom dying wasn't exactly shocking, as news of the actresses death was well known before the episode, however it probably was the most touching moment in the show.
I was absolutely SHOCKED BUT presently surprised when Sheldon kissed Amy for the first time, but it suprised me even more when he wanted to have sex with her for her birthday, I thought that it was beautiful to see Sheldons character development, ever since he met her, I really miss the show, however I have all but one season on DVD
I think actors pretend to be attracted to people they don't feel attraction to all the time, whether they're straight or gay. To me, it's not impressive that he 'plays it straight', but that he is able to portray a character like Sheldon in such an amazing way!
Wasn't interesting but predictable. The Man-child was more than ready to feed his own ego which was made clear when his "best friend" told him he was going to be a father and his instant response was "any idiot can have a kid" and used Howard to make said point.
I don't think Kaley gets the credit she deserves for her serious moment(s) acting ability. Going back to her time on 8 Simple Rules, especially after John Ritter passed, and then on TBBT, when it came to serious, emotional moments, she ALWAYS nailed it!
For the last time, Raj and Penny didn’t actually sleep together. Did you even watch the following episode? But I really didn’t like how Leonard was so mad, considering that he was dating Priya at the time. He can’t just hold onto Penny while he’s screwing someone else.
16:14 I don’t care what anyone says; Leonard and Howard may as well have taken him to court. He stabbed them in the back. I DARE the stupid writers to make Penny side and support Sheldon doing this to her HUSBAND. I really hated in the episode about the blackout, when Penny was sort of siding with Sheldon, when she asked Leonard, “didn’t he do most of the work?” He also didn’t correct the reporter when asked who was lead scientist.
Penny's pregnancy still infuriates me to this day. The writers completely disregarded their previous position on having Penny & Leonard remain childfree.
The final episode of the series proved Sheldon didn't change or even remotely grow as person. The writers kept him the same and tried to go for the "emotional payoff" with the cornball speech Sheldon gave and with Amy confronting him which in reality of the show, the group was abandoning Amy more than Sheldon. Proof of that was how easily Penny, Amy's bestie, was willing to leave with the others because getting away from Sheldon was more important to Penny than her friendship with Amy.
That forgiveness thing is not that easy. It is not that simple. Not one bit. I tried to forgive someone for something terrible they did, that's affected my life so far. I did my best, but it ate at me on the inside constantly. I feel better not forgiving them. Because they don't deserve forgiveness.
For number 12 that was not Sheldon and Amy‘s first kiss. It was a first yes, but it was the first kiss initiated by Sheldon. Their first kiss was when Sheldon went out with the girls, and he took a drunk Amy back to their apartment and she kissed him. The second time they kissed was after Sheldon gifted Amy, the tiara in which she was so excited she said that she was a princess and that was her tiara. She then gave Sheldon a big kiss. The train was technically their third kiss, but as stated earlier, it was the first kiss initiated by Sheldon
#14. Penny proposed to Leonard first during an argument. After deciding that they were indeed engaged, they felt anticlimactic. That is when Leonard pulled out the ring he had carried in his billfold. #1. Leonard may have forgiven his mother but IRL he should never let his mother anywhere near his children.
In all honesty they had a transactional relationship with Stuart, he was never their friend, just bcuz he was desperate and joe doesn't change anything
Yeah, I personally think this show lasted too long. The last four seasons are SHIT. They’re not funny; the show became TOO negative, toxic, and depressing, and Chuck Lorre made the mistake of adding TAAHM humor to the show. Why Leonard and Penny felt a lot like Alan and Lyndsey. 🤦♂️ Sheldon was more unbearable, and it was a mistake to focus too much on this, which made the characters tolerating him even more stupid. Sorry, but Penny should side with her husband more than a stupid child. I really hated the GOT episode, as well as the episode about the toothbrush when he moved in with Amy. Penny should not be agreeing with Sheldon, he is stupid, and childish.
@@JuanEnriqueFloresJr Yes. I do. I enjoy their videos, but honestly, due to how GARBAGE the last four seasons were, I get irked when TBBT videos are made. Unless they focus on something positive about the show. I get that Chuck Lorre is a greedy bastard, but at the very least he should’ve acknowledged ending the show on a much better note. Seven or eight seasons would’ve been more than enough. I especially hate how they ruined Penny character. Giving her that job was a mistake and they shouldn’t have done it. You only made her more like Bernadette, made treat her spouse like shit, and now she slowly becoming Beverly (which was also another mistake; trying to make Penny get close to her when it’s very clear that it’s not worth the effort and at the end she was a fool for it, because Beverly was just using her to study Leonard. 🤦♂️).
How many videos are going to keep making about this show? I don't have an issue, just wondering. This channel can improve by being more varied in content instead of repetitiveness which many have complained about. This is not a “if you don't like it, don't watch” situation, it’s more of a “listen to your audience” situation.
Same here but maybe change your wording because some people might think that you were being aggressive even though you probably aren’t. I know you aren’t but other people might not know because it’s hard to read tone in text.
20:06 I’m sorry, but the season four finale may have been “Shocking”, but it was still GARBAGE. The season four finale is the second worst season finale of the entire show. The worst season finale will forever have been season eight. 5:04 The beginning of season nine was also shit. Leonard’s nightmare, was also not stupid, but also made me want to throw UP.
Before I could see the elevator doors open up, someone had already made a Gif out of the scene. I did cry though when i saw it on TV. Every now & then I look up the scene and I still get emotional. Great video! 🛗

"HERE COMES URANUS" 😂😂
The fact that Jim was able to play it straight was amazing

The thing that made the series finale so interesting is that Sheldon’s selfishness wasn’t played for laughs.

Kudos for Raj and Howard for entering the correct info for Sheldon in dating, they know Sheldon well.
