Every time I immerse myself in Tremonti’s music, I’m struck once again by the remarkable individuality of Mark and his band. There’s an intensity in their sound that’s not only electric but also transformative - it's as if the sheer energy in their music could breathe life into a new universe. Mark’s voice, with its unique texture and emotional depth, needs no embellishment; it speaks for itself. In my opinion, he stands as one of the most undervalued musicians of our time and this goes far beyond his vocal abilities. His prowess as a guitarist and songwriter is exceptional, bringing a level of authenticity and artistry that’s increasingly rare. I’ve already ordered the new album, eager to see if it can somehow surpass the brilliance of the previous ones. This band continually raises the bar and I have no doubt they’ll surprise us yet again. I guess we're hearing 2 different things,.. Dude needs to stick to singing BackUp,.
Always been a fan of his guitar playing but this in NOT anywhere NEAR his best stuff~
If you wanna hear something Transformative listen to Black Tide ---->>>>> So Broken ; )
@@matthewmatt5285 Don't get me wrong, Black Tide was a solid band and So Broken is a good song.....But I wouldn't exactly put it on a pedestal and say it's "transformative". It's 2000's metalcore that's fun to vibe with and rock out to. Not a song most ppl are going to listen to and go "This song is so unique and life changing."....It's just a solid metalcore track lol. Something transformative imo would be like Devin Townsend's Ocean Machine album (That album is one heck of a trip and seemingly timeless lol). But everyone has their tastes. That's what makes music fun...There is something out there for everyone that resonates beyond words. If ppl vibe that hard with Tremonti's music, just let them have that vibe my dude. 🤘
@@calebhohneke8482 I just think the drummer had the most inventive sound I've heard in ages and the singer was like 19 on this and Mortem is just rife with amazing RIFFS and the guitar sound is just soo perfect,..They never were able to reproduce it Live because I played guitar and sang but I was a singer first and to sing like that and be even a rthym guitarist is taxing,.but he played all the Lead and he had an unusual Lead sound where some songs he didn't even play a solo and in others there were massive breakdowns and he just shredded like a Madman but it wasn't like so many bands where he was Showing off,..,.There's like 4 songs on Post Mortem that were TRYING to be Pop and that had to do to the Pressure( I'm sure) to have some radio play,..
But there's also songs that have some"pop" vibes( cuz I like Pop a little) that have great hooks but then they just go subterranean and ballistic but still keep the hooks in place,..Songs like Alone, Let it out, Give Hope and like 5 othrs that just break barriers,..I'll check that band out you're talking about bro,.Take Care~
I'm genuinely curious:
What are you hearing here that's individual?
This is the most generic rock I've ever heard.
@@nuberiffic I couldn't agree more,. I mean Tremonti is a pretty talented guy but if this isn't"Going through the Motions" then what is?~
What a killer song and singing, it keeps getting better every new song you make. \m/
LYRICS:
Walking in step with the earth
As nations rise and fall
I'll take each breath with the tides
The mother, the earth and I
The Mother Earth and I
Forever at peace
The Mother Earth and I
Together are we
Today I turn to the earth
Farewell to man and his pride
Today I look to the skies
The mother, the earth and I
The Mother Earth and I
Forever at peace
The Mother Earth and I
Together are we
The Mother Earth and I
The solace in me
Oh how right it is, and I will embrace it always
No matter what you praise or what you believe
From grave to glory go, the mother of life and decay
No matter what you praise, oh do you believe?
The Mother Earth and I
Forever at peace
The Mother Earth and I
Together are we
The Mother Earth and I
The solace in me
The Mother Earth and I
Interesting song. The video of this song shows how important nature is. I love the graphic and the effects. Mark tremonti's creativity seems endless!❤
One of my favourite bands of all time is called I Mother Earth. The name of this tune has me beyond interested…
As a long time Tremonti and fellow IME fan, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of the song 😂
Edwin IME or Brian IME?
@@Barnzy78 I obviously love both, but I actually like Brian IME better. BGO & TQMD are such an underrated records.
Quicksilver meat dream is such a hidden gem
@@Barnzy78all IME. I also remember getting scenery and fish when I was 10, and nearly 30 years later I still listen to that puppy cover to cover regularly.
Love the song and video. The song lyrics has a deep resonance with me/we. The images are captivating. Brings forth one’s inspirations and fears. This is so cool on all levels.
This is awesome! Tremonti’s Creed roots have been revisited here :)
??. Nothing like Creed!
The riff kickin in with the synth( which is the first time am hearing since human clay days) and just the clean verse vibe. Yeah it’s not exactly like creed, but it’s been a while since I’ve heard something like this from Tremonti.
This is such a killer track! I really can imagine this song playing as the world is ending
I feel like this song had alot of potential to get nasty i was i little disappointed that it didn't get that way but this is still a great track kinda gave me gojira vibes i cant wait for whats next 🤘💀🤘
Superb. The chorus is just huge with feels for days! Some the effected guitar fills - this is the best output from Tremonti since Blackbird.
shut up and take my money...can't wait to buy this
Fantastic! Mark Tremonti knocks it out of the park again.
Fenomenal, Espectacular,Great ,Epic , Powerful, vídeo 5⭐, like 👍, 💯⚡🔥, Saludos 🤘
Great Song bud! Doing great solo. You are killer who ever you play with. Love all of them also!
This may be peak tremonti
I agree!
Nah it’s fine but nowhere near his best
Peak Tremonti was late 00s honestly, although this was pretty nice too.
@@NefariousHourOfMusic nah when I mean Tremonti I mean his solo stuff. Taking everything else into consideration, I’m inclined to agree with you
@@MegaChorro123All I Was and Dying Machine are peak Tremonti imo, love his stuff but I can't lie, the last two albums have been incredibly formulaic
One of those tunes that really builds, wasn’t sure at first but really love the energy of it now! 🤘🏻
4:54 I gotta learn that lick 🗿👌
The more I listen to this song the more I love it. It is something new yet it perfectly incapsulates that late 90`s/early 2000`s alternative rock feeling.
Yeah this song slaps. The video slaps. This band slaps
SLAPS
I am truly BLOWN AWAY! I've been a Creed fan since day one. And I had no idea Mark could sing like this. AND play guitar, write/compose, produce...etc... F**king SpEcTaCuLaR!!
Man you have a CATALOG of Tremonti music to look forward to. Enjoy the journey!
This Album Will Show Us How.
the melody in this song is just incredible. I'm currently watching Rick Beato interviewing Jerry Cantrell, he mentioned about how he likes surprises in songs, reminded me of what Sting said too. This. Song. Took me to unexpected places... I love how i was absorbed into the song and was transported into a whole experience, i got goosebumps listening to this song and the only other song that i remembered having goosebumps was Black Hole Sun ...thats a whole other story LOL. It's also sad to see what we have lost in rock music in the past decades... this song is a reminder of what a great rock song sounds like... dAyum i love that melody!
also... I forgot i was watching another video too after countless repeats of this song LOL. Sorry Jerry, i'll get back to that interview after one more repeat ... maybe 2 more ... we'll see... XD 🤣
Dear Mark Tremonti, NEVER STOP MAKING MUSIC! LETS GOOoOOO
I'm actually halfway through that same interview too
Hell yes! One of my all time GOATs is back!
What a MASTERPIECE.
Wow I did not expect this music video and the song is something new too! Much love
