My process for doing rivets: take off of support, launch it into outer space. Try again, try to move it into the tweezers, and launch it into outer space. One more try, get it just right-ready to go on the model, and launch it into my eye. Bellow in pain and stop modeling for the day.
Excellent again Nigel, Thank you. I for one really appreciate the time you put into your videos and how you go about the builds, issues etc. Hope the mojo continues to rise and all the best to Jess.
Hi Nigel, this looks to be a great kit, Jeff Donahue is enjoying his build, so I hope you enjoy your build, it will be a beastvwhen finished, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
I find that some manufactures just complicate the build with unnecessary parts just to increase the part count. They don’t improve the build with these parts. 10 parts for each link in link to link tracks is just crazy. Being the amateur builder that is a mojo killer for me.
Thanks Nige. Your devotion to the hobby and to us is second to none. You are much appreciated.
You're welcome
Hi Nigel, You are really getting in to this kit, aren't you? This will get the mojo back in no time. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
Yes I am! I'm filming part 4 now.

Do you yell "Ow, my eye! I'm not supposed to get rivets into my eye!" Double points if your name's Lenny
Glad to see you are feeling better!I really enjoy your builds and all the knowledge comes along with it.
Awesome, thank you!
Rebel Hobby clamps 👍👍 , glad your enjoying the build Nigel 😁

Many thanks
Great skills Nigel, there is no denying it.👍
Thanks 👍
Thanks 👍
I’ve just completed the Das Werk Panzer III in 1/16th scale. The instructions are diabolical. So good look with this build Nigel.
The build sequence here is a joke, but other than that they seem OK?
Got this kit it’s lovely, glad your getting your mojo back Nige
Uummmmm it is a lovely kit.......... until you try and follow the instructions....
@@NigelsModellingBench here we go again 😂
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm a little further forward than Jeff, and have just found a pretty monumental issue I must speak to him about...
From Half tracks to truck and a half’s! I’ve built a couple of Dragon models Flak 18 kits.Look a bit scary but doable with a bit of organisation.
Mine arrived last week after being on order for months, so going to be following this 😀
Hope you enjoy it!
Cool model. Have a great build.
I'm glad you like it
@@NigelsModellingBench I look forward to the sequel.
A very interesting subject
Great video to whet the appetite! To square up these ladder chassis I use cheap Lego type bricks (they are amazingly square) or machinists step blocks
Great idea!
Very nice
Thanks
Great vid 👍🍺💞💪
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks like a fun build. What is the plastic like?
Lovely
Seems like there is just enough fettling to keep things interesting without being a complete rebuild

Looks like a Mini Art type build, I don't think it will be that simple lol......Drop in a Bucket of grey paint !! haha
It is not as complex Pete, but the locating pins and sockets are very frustrating.. extremely small and very weak.
👍👍
Amazon also raided the bin, plenty of 1-2-3 blocks available.
There is a major difference, for what it's worth.. mine are British steel lol.
Throw it together and dip in a pot of paint....yeah right...many episodes to come..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nigel where did you get those steel blocks from?
They came from Rolls Royce scrap bin when we closed the factory. They are called 1-2-3 blocks.
Thanks, i will google them see if any one is selling them.
This kit is absolute garbage. Maybe mine is defective but nothing fits. The simplest parts don't come close.. going right in the trash..
