This episode has to be in the top 10! Oceanfront with the view and soundtrack, some news, reviews, and pics too….That pastrami sandwich looked so good! Can’t wait to hear about the food and fun you’re finding in Baja.
I just returned from a 3-month trip down to Mulege and all points in between with my 30ft Springdale. I learned a lot about insurance and claims. As well as gas scams and living in general.
I think that’s great that there are campgrounds that are being made for all the rvers out there. Then the other ones won’t be so packed. It’s been really windy here too and snowed and it’s raining again with snow flurries on Sunday. But that could change. Lol!
Sorry I hope I worded it right about generators I thought I heard you that’s what they were. Abby I know how you feel with the wind. When it gets strong it gets loud. We have had a lot of wind here in Vegas. And rain and now some snow. California is getting it now! I’m glad you are liking the IBEX. I was asking since this video was made if you like it. Love the fact you made this trip and you did well it seems like. Hope you have safe travels and stay healthy. How is Jason’s finger? See you all soon!
Beautiful background 😍. I love going slow, too. You see so much more. I see Jason's hand is untethered to a cast! Yay! I'll bet you're happy that's gone. Looking forward to your next episode, take care.
Bongo Johnny's has the BEST breakfast in town. Several different "Benedict" including my favorite the Crab Cake Benedict. They have a $5.00 bottomless champagne, if you want mimosa you have to order the juice seperately, apparently orange, grapefruit and other juices are more expensive than the champagne 🙂 Kalura Trattoria is an excellent Italian Restaurant, very traditional foods and wines. Both are right on the main drag in Palm Springs proper.
My moms old boss lived in Psalm Springs. He lived in a trailer because it was so expensive to live in a house there. He had a Air Stream and that’s when I liked those. I still kind if like those. But I didn’t know Joshua tree was near there. Pretty cool! I would love to go there one day!
Baja is beautiful. I hope to go next year. We did a Monday day trip to Joshua Tree in January. Was not busy at all. But I was stunned by the beauty. I HAVE to go back!
Jason so glad you had friends with you to help you out with your flat tire with you having no Jack with you that yours was with your Sabre. Glad you found an Auto Zone and bought a Jack. And glad you have generators that are running good while you were on the beach. How’s it going in the IBex?
Yup… I hear my class C Winnebago I’m waiting for still will actually increase due to chassis cost increases. Wish they would offset some of that increase by lowering their cost, but supply and demand for these non trailer units keeps going up vs trailered units. 🙁
I think that the average auction value going up might be skewed by the age of the unit due to people who bought during the pandemic and now don't want it or can't afford it and had it repossessed.
Great video. We love the dark skies of Joshua Tree and star/galaxy photos. Thursday nights in Palm Springs is quite an experience.

That’s awesome to read, James! Thank you!! -Abby

I heard it was beautiful there in Psalm Beach. It sounds so fun to be there and go and do things. I love California!

Loved Abi’s final thoughts. Wonderful note to end on indeed! Safe travels.
Thanks, Dave. Safe travels to you and yours as well! -Abby

Thank you Abby I know I would! I love places where I’ve never been!
I couldn’t hear any waves in the background at all. I heard you really good. Looks beautiful at the beach. Sad there’s no sun out.
Thanks for the feedback!! - A
LOVE THE BEACH. Hehehe Had a flat years ago, had a Jack but NO TOOLS to get the tire off. Hehe

I can’t wait to return. There is still so much to explore. Gorgeous park! -Abby

Us too, Sherri! So thankful for friends and for being able to make things work.

Sounded like a WTTW Telethon for a moment... 😉
Takes $ to grow you know. Do you listen to their other podcasts, like Americas National Parks? Great stories, and totally free.
@@jamesr208, Yes...
I was making a Chicagoland comment about WTTW. 😁
Window to the World. Thanks Greg and James for the continued support and the little piece of home.
Abby; What is so low about $4M? I've got some Prevost conversions for you to look at.

That's certainly a possibility. Good thinking.
Aren't you excited for all of us buyers? Prices are much better. Are you worried about manufacturers or your listeners?
Just sharing the news. It's complicated, and prices have not dropped enough.
Manufacturers (in all industries) have taken advantage of the supply and labor excuse. Consumers have had enough of the whining.
Abi, women hear everything and men hear nothing! It's a fact.
lol.
