S&M2, the live concert film from Metallica & The San Francisco Symphony, is the concert event of the year!
This live recording features 20 songs (over 2.5 hours of music) from the two-night event that opened San Francisco’s new Chase Center, with many Metallica fan favorites and two unique classical songs chosen by San Francisco Symphony Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas.
S&M2 is newly re-edited by the band with remixed and remastered audio for a whole new look and sound from the original theatrical run in October 2019.

@@Jason.Moock09 until recently I'd agree. So many kids learned to love Metallica because of Stranger Things. I am so grateful for that. My 7 year old son loves Metallica now. It's a beautiful thing.

Orchestral players are professional musicians and they usually like every type of music.
A few of them have performed with them twice (on both S&M 1 and 2). :)
most of the first stingers didn't want anything to do with it. they all went on vacation. the second stringers that showed up have said it was boring to them. just african beats and uninteresting - as far as music goes. It was basically below their talents - but pays the bills.
This, ladies and gentleman, is the greatest band of all time.

I don't think non-musicians can understand the good will that a band like this has to possess to keep playing the same songs over and over, year after year. And somehow try to have fun while doing it. Seriously... that's love. They love their fans.

Every time I hear this song the only part I hear, and I am actually very glad for is "Rock will never, ever, end." I hope these new generations will return to this glory and masterpieces called Rock 'n' Roll music. Thanks Metallica for so many beautiful songs.

My daughter was a Freshman in college. we'd drive 1000 miles to take her to school listening to this CD. I always had to replace a speaker in the truck when I got home.

I am just glad that Robert Trujillo get the chance to be a member of Metallica the greatest heavy metal band in history. Robert is now the longest bass player for this incredible band. I've seen him playing bass for Black Label Society and Suicidal but he deserves to be a Metallica! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🎸🎸🎸🥁
