Best holiday village in the country been coming since early 80s used to come with my parents now I take my kids nearly every year. Can remember fantastic island wasn't there just few little rides now change is immense.

About 20 years since Iast went to Ingoldmells, always good fun there, I remember huge market around Fantasy island, a Ladbrokes I never seemed to lose in and great food in the Villager pub, I'll have to go again sometime.

i went there 2 years ago for the first time since the early 80's, so not surprisingly i didn't recognise an awful lot apart from tho old part of the town. had a great week there & decided to go back the following year, & going again shortly. the place is as friendly as i remember it to be from all those years back. fully recommend it

Ingoldmells! Never heard of the place..pleasantly surprised how much there was there.. good to see places on the east coast .as I live on the west of the pennines I tend to go to Southport. .St Anne's ..blackpool. fleetwood morecambe. The market in Ingoldmells looked really good.like you I love being at the seaside. It has an atmosphere of its own.

Is anyone old enough to remember the petrol go kart circuit ? This was to the right of the end of the road/roundabout 2:47 ....Long gone now but happy memories. Did you know at the traffic lights at Roman Bank was to have pedestrian tunnels straight under the road but was scrapped because of high costs.

I used to go to Ingoldmells as a kid in the mid 80's back in the days when there was hardly anything there, I do remember being about 14/15 and getting chatted up by a carebear near where the entrance to the theme park is now lol still have no idea who he was lol. Its changed so much and so much more to do, but still have fund memories of the older days before the crowds 😀
we like and visit Hemsby....a bit further up coast lad, i have never been to Ingoldmells , but i am now, this vid was great loved it gave a good honest view of the place.....its now August 2nd we better get there before Boris locks us down again.....cheers

Where's that place at the bottom of the road nearer to post office that does a fill your plate Sunday carvery... And pick a pudding. All the ole folk go in and pile their plate... Is it called manhatten? It's got a pink sign outside and there's 2 cafes next door... Is that open yet? Coming a week on Sat and want to show me mam. Been coming 3x a year for past 5 years and I only tried it last time. I hope its open. Plus that chippy thru barriers at end of kingfisher.... Best chippy abart that I hope that one's open. Plus Shakeys milkshake bar.... God I love that place... I hope he don't pack up and move his milkshakes are best I've ever had.

I only came across this great video as i was looking at caravans to hire on the promenade site and one said it was behind planet hollywood.so i searched for that just on the off chance i could sort of try and see the caravans at the back, then i saw this video and just gave up searching and carried on watching this instead and it was great. Ive been going there since i was a kid,then i took my kids there and my grandkids,and now im 65 and we only stopped going because of covid.. so we both need to get some sea air in our lungs and a well deserved rest..anyway i think ive found us a nice caravan but omg the greed of some of these caravan owners is astounding and i will not be paying £650 for 1 week in a caravan its outrageous and theyre pricing theirselves out of the market.. Its sad that kids wont be able to go to this great place for a holiday that they will never forget and make memories forever. Ordinary working class people just wont be able to afford to take their families.Thanks for your lovely film tho,i really enjoyed it and felt as though i was right there.Its soo good i watched it 6 times!! Lovely...

Living all my life in a seaside town myself, the amusement arcades hold no interest to me. But if you remove them, and the other retail outlets...you have nothing. No scenery whatsoever and a sea horizon dotted in industrial wind turbines...I used to think my home town was bad, but not anymore....Please visit and film in my town Scarborough. Queen of the Yorkshire coast. We actually have natural scenery.

When you filmed the extremely high tides had stripped the beach of much of it's fine sand, this happens about every 25 years or so...we have it all back now so no stones on the beach anymore, just lovely golden sand. The futurist demolition is complete and the site is now landscaped. Please come back and do some more. Ingoldmells - place where at least two people are stabbed to dead yearly. Another two are killed by drunk drivers during season. Place, where local council do not care to remove sand from the pavement on the beach. Place where the lowest of the low of society comes to drink cheap alcohol before fighting. Think twice before you take your kids to see this horrible dangerous place.
