This dress is what the filipinos wore even before the spaniards came to the country. I find Malaysia and Singapore to be a really interesting place where all ethnicities can coexist and respect each other's differences and cultures. We used to play a lot of games everyday (we seldom play games because of school now), and they introduced me to certain foods such as the Pho and the Vietnamese spring rolls (my favorite). That's the point of time were I started liking the Vietnamese culture a lot. We also had a neighbor here in my province in the Philippines that's Vietnamese. He used to smile a lot and was generally friendly. I've never seen him for a very long time, my mom said that he's bed-ridden? I don't know if that's the term, but she said he cannot walk nor talk anymore due to old age. Still saddens me thinking of him.

We used to play a lot of games everyday (we seldom play games because of school now), and they introduced me to certain foods such as the Pho and the Vietnamese spring rolls (my favorite). That's the point of time were I started liking the Vietnamese culture a lot.
We also had a neighbor here in my province in the Philippines that's Vietnamese. He used to smile a lot and was generally friendly. I've never seen him for a very long time, my mom said that he's bed-ridden? I don't know if that's the term, but she said he cannot walk nor talk anymore due to old age. Still saddens me thinking of him.
