I always watch Suchwita with you because your thoughts & comments always add so much to my understanding & appreciation of these episodes. I'm so thankful to Yoongi for creating & hosting Suchwita. Not only is he so musically gifted, but he's proving himself to be so multidimensional in the entertainment industry. I have been introduced to so many artists through Suchwita & BTS' musical collaborations. I had not heard of Jung Yonghwa. Not only is he very talented but seems like such a lovely person. Thank you, John for sharing this experience.
In my opinion, Koreans or Jung Yong Hwa, do underestimate his reach internationally, I am army (forever 💜) but I was introduced to K-music and K-drama due to Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye, their drama Heartstrings. It still is one of my fav drama, and for him to be close to Suga was a pleasant surprise.
Love the fact that you know CNBLUE really well!! Jung Yong Hwa is my first bias~ CNBLUE got me into the kpop world because they're a band, and I was into bands. We Got Married's YongSeo couple was my favorite also 😃.. This was a fun episode, and your commentary made it even more fun! 💙

I know Jung Yong Hwa because I watch Running Man. Then my friend recommend me WGM YongSeo couple. From there I know he’s a vocalist, guitarist, play a lot other instruments, funny, caring and many more. I’m more into band so it’s easy for me to fall for him and CNBLUE when I watch WGM. Still a fan for them and JYH since 2011. I’m late 1 year 😂
Yoongi just gets better and better at this, and I love seeing him so relaxed.

Loved this episode!! And u can tell that they are close friends. It’s nice to know that Yoongi has musician friends he can talk too.
BTS Life Goes On was directed by JK and they filmed in their dorm. Yoongi’s version is found in his D-day album and while his verse in the BTS version is the same the song is a bit different. It closes out that album and I think it’s the perfect song for it.
Jung Yong Hwa was the one who made me accept K Pop but my interest is still mainly in K Bands because I just love band music.

I always enjoy rewatching these episodes with you. Having your commentary in there makes it so interesting, plus gives more knowledge about the guest. Good to know that Yonghwa was raised right and has good character. I’ll have to try and watch more of his work musically, plus maybe watch some of his acting. It’s nice to see Yoongi and Yonghwa together & so comfortable with each other. I’ve seen Yoongi’s audition clip many times, but this is the first time I heard him talk about it. We got to hear a lot about Suga in this episode too. 👍🏼🫰🏼

Yeah it seems like Yoongi had a really big influence on him for his first solo album.
The guy they were talking about, Jang Yi Jeong, that helped Jung Yonghwa produce his title track is EL CAPITXN (pronounced el capitan). He's a good friend of Yoongi who worked with him since 2018 I think and in 2019 EL CAPITXN joined as an official producer of Big Hit, but they knew each other since 2016. EL CAPITXN has been involved with many songs by SUGA, AGUST D, Jimin, Jin, TXT and BTS mostly as a producer.
'Your City' is actually not Yonghwa's first solo album. It's his third solo album.

Kind of a silly questions at points they were speaking so quickly. Is that something he is known for or just because they were having a good time.
Actually, they are talking in normal pace. In interviews people have tendencies to measure what they are gonna say. To me they sounded as two guys who know each other just shooting the breeze..... It sounded like that perhaps because they were extremely comfortable with each other. I personally didn't notice it.
It’s was just faster then Suga normally talks on the show, I only noticed because the subtitles were moving faster. I read quickly and watch things with subtitles from everywhere and anywhere. It was weird that I had to stop them at points to read. But actually listening wasn’t much different then when Suga decides he wants to tease Jimin.
@@cockatielartie3258 It was as if they forgot they were filming. It is so reassuring that Suga has good people around him. It could get lonely on the top but I don't think I have to worry about him. Watching this show made me realize he has worthwhile and honorable people around him.
