This is only a very small snippet of CNBLUE/ Yong Hwa’s solo music, he didn’t even include CNBLUE’s rock songs and their Japanese discography which is a whole other beast. Yong Hwa who writes most of their music has released about 200 songs in multiple genres/languages. If you like Then Now and Forever, you might like In Time from the same album, Stay Sober and Royal Rumble. And CNBLUE is all about Live Concert performances, Yong Hwa is one of the most charismatic frontman I’ve ever seen and a legit rock star.

Actually Jung Yonghwa is considered a veteran singer in the industry so is CNBLUE. They were legendary. The only non-idol boy group to reach their peak on high levels. Yes i am a boice and a goguma. Hahaha

The first kpop artist I got into was CNBLUE. Yonghwa's voice, their songs and specially their concerts are so good. Yonghwa is a great performer indeed!
I love Yong Hwa!!! He writes most of their music. And he also plays many instruments! He's a musical genius. I love their sound. CNBlue makes me so happy. It's usually upbeat music. And he's a great actor. The OSTs he sang here are from Heartstrings, and he stars in the drama too. Fantastic.

Agree!! I miss the good old days when EXO and CNBlue are at their peak. Back then, good musics come with good vocals - the vocal tone, the texture and the live performances are really the key. Nowadays, K-pop songs are highly produced, making them lack the souls and characteristics of the artists.

Yes! CNBLUE! 2:32 by this song, they got first place in K music show, 3day after they debut. and they kept release hits after hits. This song was such a banger that even older people call him "Whetoriya!" even if they don't remember his name.
You should definitely listen to their live concerts! He always has super high energy and captivates the audience. Cnblue live is another level.

His voice is the first voice of kpop that i heard and inspired me to stand CNBLUE. Actually i am a BOICE 💙 and the most important thing is please do not miss their live performance. He is good in singing, composing song, writing song, producing, playing various instruments and he is practicing dance ☺️.
CNBLUE’s music is the sun coming through after the rain, is the light breeze in a hot summer day! You can just see how much YongHwa enjoys it. YH is THE FRONT MAN, his energy is just amazing to move crowds!

Its a joke among the fandom that he runs a marathon while on stage
Yonghwa was born to sing live. He was made for the stage. He is such a talented and energetic singer and performer. It shows that he loves what he does.
And I forgot to tell you Sir, they're also GREAT ACTORS. They have been played male lead roles in Kdramas and movies and won many awards as well. You can check #Yonghwa's Sell Your Haunted House (2020) and Brain Cooperation /Works (2022)
He actually debuted as an actor first in 2009 than as a singer with CNBLUE.
His first drama was You're Beautiful with ParkShinhye and again with her in Heartstring as a male lead (you like OST from this drama too : You have fallen in me😊)
And CNBLUE debuted first in Japan and they've been playing music on streets there before debut in S. Korea in 2010 with I'm A Loner.
They've very strong fanbase there too.

Just a little info, Yonghwa was SNSD Seohyun's partner on a show called 'We Got Married', and the song "Banmal Song" was written for Seohyun. They were such a popular couple in that show and they really had chemistry too

And he have sooo many other songs. It’s presumed by quite a number of fans that he might choose a list of song that fit more to Korean for Dingo YT. I love cnblue songs so much and the main reason is exactly what you said, the melodies are unpredictable and that make their songs so refreshing to listen to 💗💗💗 younghwa is the songwriter of almost all of cnblue songs that’s why they’re so unique. he’s famous for being genius musician cause he composed most of the songs in minutes (Your City was complete within 10 minutes) and he said if a song takes a long time usually it didn’t work for him, indeed genius. Also, the song that you liked “Then, Now & Forever" was composed, written and arranged completely by him

As a lead singer in band, his vocal never cracked even while hitting high notes, screaming, jumping, running, playing instruments etc. Very comfortable and confidence with his vocal. Strong wonderful versatile singer.

It's been 10 years since I listened to cnblue for the first time, they opened the korean music door for me, I used to watch every single concert they release since their live performances are top noch. there is still a HUGE part for them in my heart, I still do marathons for their concerts, and I still dream of attending a concert in japan one day :")

The uniqueness of melody line comes from this point that this man is the main songwriter and producer of the band and since his childhood he has been in love with classical and jazz music while he was turning to a multi instrumentalist. You’re right…. Yonghwa is very relaxed and confident in his skin, voice in all entirety. He loves the stage. He loves being frontman. He loves music. His band mates also commented YongHwa loves attention. Haha but he brings a lot of life to his concerts! He likes to play around with the songs during concerts, edits and gets his bandmates to take turns singing and swapping instruments. He’s very experimental and playful. Truly a talent. Fun loving musician. It’s a joy to watch him perform honestly.

Soy Boice fan de JYH y CNBLUE y de otros artistas surcoreanos de KPop desde los grupos de Kpop de primera generación y también los que aparecieron luego como EXO, soy fan de kdranas etc. me encanta la cultura de Corea del Sur. Quiero comentarte que CNBLUE es banda de. Rock y de rockpop. y como músicos hacen varias incursiones musicales de otros géneros musicales. Ellos en primer lugar son músicos pero no son grupo de Kpop. Debutaron en Corea del Sur en enero 2010 y desde. entonces han creado una música maravillosa. y para conocerlos mejor hay q ver vídeos desde entonces hasta la actualidad porqque ahora son tres miembros, eran cuatro pero uno de ellos el guitarrista dejó la banda. Desde 2010 a 2016 han hecho giras. fuera de Corea y de Asia también.Hay mucho y muy bueno para escuchar de toda su carrera por eso le recomiendo que conozca más de sus creaciones porque además son compositores y letristas de sus canciones y JYH es cantautor y es excelente en todo lo que hace . Seems like your favourite fast upbeat one is “You’ve Fallen for Me” and the black background song is “Intuition”… they have a wider variety of songs though. You should definitely check them out. Yonghwa composes his own songs, one of the early gens who does it, cause others just sang what others wrote for them.
