I just changed mine. Thanks for tips/video. I used 9/16” on bottom bolt. The 14mm seemed like it was stripping. And I think it was original Toyota alternator. SAE bolt on Toyota seems weird but it worked on mine.
You could check common parts sites like RockAuto, but a special alternator might not be there. I wouldn't know where to find a special high output model
You said fast but you ended up sun going down and spen the whole day 😅😅😅, anyway thanks 🙏
Haha yeah the video is fast but the process wasn't for me 😅

lol very funny guy who can learn with that video
Anyone know the type of connector that was stuck? Same problem here.
great video...do you have a link to that replacement alternator you used???
I don't remember which exactly it was, but I got it from RockAuto.com - they have lots of options. I'm glad you liked the vid!
What brand would you recommend?
So how did you get that connector off
I can't remember exactly... Using tools to activate the release and then gently wiggling it off should be your best chance
How and where can I get a 300 amp alternator high output upgrade for my 2004 Toyota corolla

Highest I found was a 200 amp in eBay. I looked and looked but couldn’t find anything on any websites did you have any luck?
