Im gonna be real with you, I got like 40 hours in starcraft 2. I never really utilized your videos like I should have. BUT, you still did help me, I got pretty bad anxiety, and have a hard time sleeping, Ive probably watched your B2GM series at least 3 times over, or rather I slept to it 3 times over. I think what made G to BM so powerful is that it takes a foundation and then builds on it with specifics. It helps reinforce a positive mindset that can be used in other avenues of life. You sound slightly tongue in cheek with your last comment, but it really does apply. It also reinforces big picture logic. When you are not in the right mindset your videos help remind you, "No there is a logic to things. Here let me show you".

Hi Vibu, or should I say coral.. it's brarkan, it's my qur twitch nickname, I don't know if you remember but I was a subscriber for a few months spread over several years (which corresponds to my playing periods of sc2) I'm 34 years old and I followed you on your Sc2 content for a long time. obviously from your point of view you don't realize to what extent your daily streams (I remember a period where you chained more than 200 days of streams on sc2... unbelievable) can remind us of certain periods of our lives and certain state of mind, I had a great time following you and learning about the game via your bronze to GM, I also remember the duels with Avilo, what fun I had! well all that to say thank you, I had good times when things were not going well I always had my vibu to take my mind off things, you are part of my life now I can say that. I wish you great continuation! and maybe I'll come back to see you on a future RTS (not on wow because I've been playing it since the beta and I gave it too much haha) Brarkan.
My family has multiple cases of Alzheimer's and I have adhd, which make me even more susceptible to develop alzheimer'a when I grow old. One of my "brain workouts" consists of practicing sc2 (There is a little bit of research showing how it helps enlarge brain mass in some areas related to cognition). So, in a way, you have been helping me to keep my brain healthy. I don't know what will be the future of your content, but I will be cheering for you. Much love man.

I played sc2 for 2 years and reached 5k by the end of 2023. After that games get very hard and pushing forward feels like just work. Vibe videos taught me everything. But the game itself hits my brain so bad. The routine ruins my cognitive life style in work and social. I decided to stop and it frees my brain from overthinking. I workout and meditate everyday. I did not regret playing the game but this game just drains my soul to the fullest if i keep playing it
As others have said I too found b2g around 2019 and it blew my mind open . I learned so much and have always been so thankful for your knowledge, dedication, and time spent helping people like myself learn sc2 . Tried to remember what streamer it was that I learned all the good shit ~6 years ago and came across this video in my feed. Boom, there it is - your hair color was what confirmed I was remembering the 'right guy'. Just wanted to say I appreciate your style of teaching, nothing ever quite stuck with me as well as your B2GM Terran series. Totally agree with your analysis on SC2. I love the game, but I'm actually a BW player, similar backstory to yours. Sad to see what Blizz is doing to the IP, the StarCraft franchise is by far my favorite of any (similar to your feelings about Warcraft). Was kind of assuming that you would be active with Stormgate, and that it would eventually lead to similar videos and streams... will miss your input in RTS, the general ideas and approach the game with are different than other former pro that have gone streamers....

It's strange that you're done now. I was hugely into Dota 2 starting in 2015 pretty much quitting Starcraft 2 after being there since 2010 at the age of 14. I love Dota 2 but Sc2 is where I came from and this past year I have been following heavily. I have been watching every major and even some minor tournaments, and I have been anticipating the next time I get to watch something and also going back and watching things I missed. I agree that I hope one of these next RTS companies works out and makes something great to pull me in, but I'm also not really a player anymore. I just want to watch some good games and I love Sc2 lore and players and I will probably always come back to it. Here's hoping something good comes from the Microsoft acquisition and they make Sc3 or another RTS again.

Really love your content, got be back in the loop after taking a break since I quit at around early hots. I'd say ladder up till 5k feels really nice. There is a mix of variety of players, but also you get that community feeling as you can run into players you know sometimes or played against in the past. I also feel like RTS is making a little bit of a comeback with all the new games about to come out, and it will inevitably pull more ppl to the genre, or bring older players back to life. A lot of them will realise they don't like the new ones but it will re-spark the love for RTS, and I'm sure a lot of ppl will return to sc2. Similarly, a lot of new players will get introduced to the genre, hear about sc2, try it, and many will stay. Ofc this is from the perspective of a non-pro player who is not looking at the game as a source to make a living. Anyway, here's to RTS being the master race once again!!!!!
Damn. This sucks. But even BeastyQT and Destiny hop on sc2 from time to time. Hopefully ViBE will too. But ViBE's sc2 content kept me company thru a period in my life where I was super lonely and his streams were there for me in a real way.

My family has multiple cases of Alzheimer's and I have adhd, which make me even more susceptible to develop alzheimer'a when I grow old. One of my "brain workouts" consists of practicing sc2 (There is a little bit of research showing how it helps enlarge brain mass in some areas related to cognition). So, in a way, you have been helping me to keep my brain healthy. I don't know what will be the future of your content, but I will be cheering for you. Much love man.

I played from 2010 to 2012 pretty consistently. Then I had years off for various reasons. Watching your B2GM videos made me start playing again for a while in 2019/2020. They were great. I miss this game but don't have time for it anymore, but your videos almost resparked my desire to consistently play. Thanks for your content.
B2GM is really how I got into SC2. Made plat with every race and diamond with Protoss. Really really appreciate all the content you created!

I played sc2 for 2 years and reached 5k by the end of 2023. After that games get very hard and pushing forward feels like just work. Vibe videos taught me everything. But the game itself hits my brain so bad. The routine ruins my cognitive life style in work and social. I decided to stop and it frees my brain from overthinking. I workout and meditate everyday.
I did not regret playing the game but this game just drains my soul to the fullest if i keep playing it

I learned so much and have always been so thankful for your knowledge, dedication, and time spent helping people like myself learn sc2 . Hey man thanks for the update. I really did miss when you left. Everything you said is super understandable. Hopefully you find that passion for another game like stormgate or whatever. As most other comments have said I learned a ton from you and got to D3 in less than a year being as ancient as I am.

If you're looking for something new try the all races in mod in sc2 and the sc evo mod for sc1 vs sc2. Its basically sc3 with new races. Well fleshed out. Glhf

I totally lost track of your channel and recently came back to SC2 as a little fun-hobby with the wife. Tried to remember what streamer it was that I learned all the good shit ~6 years ago and came across this video in my feed. Boom, there it is - your hair color was what confirmed I was remembering the 'right guy'. Just wanted to say I appreciate your style of teaching, nothing ever quite stuck with me as well as your B2GM Terran series. Totally agree with your analysis on SC2. I love the game, but I'm actually a BW player, similar backstory to yours. Sad to see what Blizz is doing to the IP, the StarCraft franchise is by far my favorite of any (similar to your feelings about Warcraft). I'll keep my eye on your channel to see what you get into next!

Was kind of assuming that you would be active with Stormgate, and that it would eventually lead to similar videos and streams... will miss your input in RTS, the general ideas and approach the game with are different than other former pro that have gone streamers....

It's strange that you're done now. I was hugely into Dota 2 starting in 2015 pretty much quitting Starcraft 2 after being there since 2010 at the age of 14. I love Dota 2 but Sc2 is where I came from and this past year I have been following heavily. I have been watching every major and even some minor tournaments, and I have been anticipating the next time I get to watch something and also going back and watching things I missed. I agree that I hope one of these next RTS companies works out and makes something great to pull me in, but I'm also not really a player anymore. I just want to watch some good games and I love Sc2 lore and players and I will probably always come back to it. Here's hoping something good comes from the Microsoft acquisition and they make Sc3 or another RTS again.

Really love your content, got be back in the loop after taking a break since I quit at around early hots. I'd say ladder up till 5k feels really nice. There is a mix of variety of players, but also you get that community feeling as you can run into players you know sometimes or played against in the past. I also feel like RTS is making a little bit of a comeback with all the new games about to come out, and it will inevitably pull more ppl to the genre, or bring older players back to life. A lot of them will realise they don't like the new ones but it will re-spark the love for RTS, and I'm sure a lot of ppl will return to sc2. Similarly, a lot of new players will get introduced to the genre, hear about sc2, try it, and many will stay. Ofc this is from the perspective of a non-pro player who is not looking at the game as a source to make a living. Anyway, here's to RTS being the master race once again!!!!!
