Why do people complain about not having a Kickstart, it's literally so much easier to push a button and if the battery does die which everyone seems to worry about you can just push start it pretty easily?
For the oil drain bolt... you can get a hollow bolt with a fitting on the end for a rubber hose. Lay bike on its side, remove drain plug, replace with hollow plug with hose attached and a bung on the other end. Stand bike up, remove bung. No mess.
You need a battery to run a 6 speed? Please explain. I have the exact same model and I seem to be able to “run 6 gears” just fine even after bump starting a dead battery.
Bruh gearing ratio is not related to electrical system. Just roll start it in 2nd gear. Maybe you were referring too the fact they didn't include Kickstarter because it would add a weak link to a virtually indestructible transmission
It all depends on your experience and what you are comfortable with, but the yz250f is a way better bike. If you get the 230, you will need to eventually move up to the 250. I would probably say go for the 250 it is a lot more fun with way more power. The suspension is also very easy to adjust.
not all! There is 2 clickers on the top of the suspension and on the rear suspension. You just adjust them to your specification, there are plenty of videos to help you out

Yeah I agree but I guess if you're on a tight trail where mountain goats roam... battery dies if you let the bike die, you're pretty much SOL.
Mason O'Regan and for fuel injected bikes the fuel injector becomes a piece of rubber
It's called bump start if you run out of battery on mountain
not easy at all when stuck in the mud or side of a cliff
I’d prefer a kick start

If I had to choose between the crf230 or a yz250f, which bike would recommend as a powerful trail bike?
the 250 is way better but you have to know how to use its power. Plus you have to soften the suspension alot!
+Connor C is softening the suspension hard?
+Lucky Loft * to do

I have a 230F I got it used with only 200 km on it
Ive got a few videos of this bike on my channel. They are really fun smooth bikes
I'm 5 foot is this bike to tall
Landon Copeland it depends how good you are if you are really experienced then probably not but if your 5 feet tall than it's probably to tall
i'm almost 6 foot, and the bike fits me but almost doesn't, so no don't get this one, you're not tall enough
Yes, a CR500 would fit you better.
I’m 5 4 and it fits just right
What is that bike sitting next to YZ250 just wondering?

This isn’t a review, it’s more like here are the parts of a motorcycle.
I didn't turn the key off on my 230f and killed the battery so I had to replace it
Lithium batteries are way lighter
