The award-winning international phenomenon THE X FACTOR is back. In Season Three of the hit competition series hosted by Mario Lopez, THE X FACTOR judges will travel the nation searching for talent 12 years old or over -- both solo artists and vocal groups -- who are willing to brave the panel for a chance to make their dreams of becoming a superstar come true. Auditions for THE X FACTOR were held this spring in Los Angeles, CA; Charleston, SC; New Orleans, LA; Long Island, NY; and Denver, CO.
Contestants will audition in front of THE X FACTOR judges, including Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio, and an audience of thousands. This will be the ultimate test to prove they have the vocal ability, charisma and stage presence it takes to become a global superstar or breakout music act and win a recording contract with Syco/Sony Music.
Those contestants who survive the first auditions will be divided into four categories: Boys, Girls, Over 25s and Groups. Each category will be mentored by one of the show's judges. Not only is it a competition between the hopefuls to stake their claim for the coveted win, but it's also a showdown among the judges as to whose acts will dominate the competition and make it to the finals. The judges may have their say in how the competition progresses, but it will be up to America to decide who ultimately has THE X FACTOR.

Denise, If your looking through these comments I want you to know I still have hope in you. There are many famous stars that did not win the X-Factor. You will be one soon. Keep up the great work! If you ever need anything I'll be there.
I am really disappointed that they didn't even show Panda Ross' audition for 2013 and I can't believe she didn't make the cut

tit supo yes yes, I remember that too but she came back a year later and auditioned as well and I believe made it to boot camp but washed out then. I can't remember the years off the top of my head though.
When I first saw this, when Demi said Allison Davis, I was like: What?! Why?! Are you kidding me?!
I'm sorry, but Allison was not that good in my opinion. And as I saw Denise crying, I said: What?! Denise didn't make it?! I loved her audition! It was incredible! I was like, "Whoa whoa! Wait a minute! So you're telling me they chose Allison Davis over Denise Weeks?! That's the most stupidest decision ever!".
I agree! Nothing against Allison. I think with a lot of work she could be okay. But Denise was much better vocally!

Panda was not pulled from the competition in season 2, she made it to the very end of bootcamp, and even dedicated her 1st bootcamp performance to Simon haha. If you watch the results to the 1st round of bootcamp somewhere on UA-cam you can see her in the group of contestants that continued.
It's very unfortunate too, they probably just don't have any justification for eliminating her and I'm sure the producers knew that would be an unpopular decision with the audience.

i think the crew tells them that on callback they should wear the same clothes they wore on the auditions because that way it's easier for viewers to recognize them.

I think they missed out Denise while judging, you should have saw how they judged in the video this channel posted, first come first serve.
It his is so hard to watch,, because they keep on zooming in on Denise weeks, and she seems so worried, and it's SOO sad, because she's been waiting all of her life for this, and she didn't get in, it makes me want to cry- I DID cry!
You are right they could chose one or the other. The truth is that the record company has a say too because they don't want to invest money in a winner that makes loses.

Oh, thank you for that piece of information. Too bad that they don't show her audition. Many people love her. Well, maybe she doesn't need xfactor, but it would've been nice to see her personality and interaction with the judges (and of course, her singing!)

Does anyone know what happend to Panda Ross?? She came back but I couldn't find her audition, and I didn't see her there!
Panda Ross auditioned in season 2 but was evacuated to the hospital so she couldn't keep going.
She came back in season 3, but her audition isn't shown (Fun fact: (Sad fact, actually.) Her bootcamp performance last year wasn't shown either, I guess the editors/producers don't like her.)
You can however see the "Yes! I made it!" interview in the Xfactor channel, also she was eliminated, since there are only 10 spots and she wasn't one of them :X

Can someone answer me why most of the contestants are wearing the same outifit as they did in their audition even though this was obviously after it? It makes them look like all of them auditioned in the same area even the auditions were held in separate places. Also I find it a bit unfair on how the contestants were chosen in this video. The judges basically chose the top 10 auditions they thought were the best. They should've had them do another round before they were chosen to the four-chair challenge round. It given some contestants who didn't make it another chance to prove themselves. I feel SO bad for Denise Weeks. :( They said great things about her in her audition but then eliminated her right away.

I was feeling the same way ....tears were welling up and when they saved him for last I was so happy for him I just started crying ; I hope they don't put me in that much suspense again . I missed the show this week so I was catching up on here . I know Jeff Gutt will go through to the Live shows....not saying to be a spoiler but I have a strong feeling ; although there are rumors around but I don't like to listen to rumors ....I go by what I feel ;-}
