  • Hi! I hope you enjoyed this song!
It is from the original soundtrack of Studio Ghibli's first film (allegedly), Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) originally known as 風の谷のナウシカ. The song is called "Requiem", and in itself, a musical piece aimed to the repose of the souls of the dead, and an act of remembrance.
In the last few decades, climate change and the loss of our planet's biodiversity have become very apparent. Human neglect and actions have speed this process, affecting the Earth immensely. When I watched this film, it reminded me of that. A toxic world created by human wars, and activity...
I would like to encourage you to take action in this global cause. Recycle, buy products with the future wellbeing of the world in mind, sign local and national petitions, educate people who ignore the facts... UA-cam is an international place, I will leave some useful links and resources so you can get informed.
If you have any suggestions or resources on this topic, feel free to leave a comment! I would love to know!
