I was near it, the siren went off and our school did a real tornado drill.

Seems like DuPage is the new spot for Tornadoes. Just 2½ years ago we had that tornado that came through Woodridge

My childrens school had to go into the basement for routhly 20 min.
This is my son now:Okay at school and we were in library when our principal said on the school speaker that everyone had to go into the basement immediately.TBH I was scared out of my mind, I didn't want our school (St.Scholastica) to get destroyed.And I think about 2 years ago at the start of summer,there was a f-3 tornado near my school.

Same for us here in Lombard Illinois, my sister had to do that, thankfully I was home sick and didn’t have to worry to much.

I was at school and heard the sirens in my ELA class

tornado was definetly down, I am in Ohio and a tornado just touched down an hour ago, it was right ontop of us
