I grew up a depressed anxiety ridden kid. I learned on my own to manage my own emotions and im in so much peace. I gave 8 siblings and i talk to 0 of them for the sake of my peace and my happiness. Anytime i let one in it gets to be overwhelming because they love chaos and drama.

I understand. One sibling I've forgiven and forgiven. Everytime I let them back in, chaos ensues. I was hoping for happiness. I've finally learned and the door is closed. I learned that I have to deal with what is.
I get it. I had to cut off the family I was born into. I was always good as long as I was doing & helping everyone, but when I set boundaries they couldn't respect them, so after a few tries I had to just let them go.

I prayed for peace and asked God to remove anyone that was pretending to like or love me as a person..let me tell you something. Everybody is gone except a few people..im glad he protected me from those demons..an i don't miss none of these people. Ive always put God first even before myself and children..an he always makes sure im good. My blessing is living with my son who's a minister and i don't have to help with any bills.

I constantly fight with going off or letting go. If I could be unbothered instead of feeling like I'm letting people walk all over me and bottle up my anger.... It's hard and I'm much older than Omarion. Kudos to him and all the positivity on this thread. ❤✌️
Practice, practice, and practice. Discover your attachment style and work on bringing it to the secure attachment style. Once I learned what triggered me and why I reacted the way i did, I started to grow.
When people trigger you, just sit with it for a minute. Ask yourself, why did that make me mad? Did they mean it like I took it? Do I even need to take it that way? Remember that your inner peace is about you, not about them. Your peace is YOUR house, and you don’t have to let people mess up your house/peace. Feel the anger, breathe through it, let it go. Walk away and you’ve won.
Also, know when to unleash the anger on someone. You are in control of how you respond. And, yes, as @Thinkoutsidethebox15 said, practice. And celebrate your progress!

I finally found peace by staying silent. Silence is way better than talking or thinking. Silence brings in warmth, peace, clear mindedness and your never stuck wondering whats happening in the world. Silence builds you up everyday and you'll notice it.

Being peaceful makes others uncomfortable. When they don’t understand it they get angry. When you ignore it they trigger you. When you show emotions of anger. THEY FIND PEACE & call you out to be the bad person. Just my experience.
On the flipside, they will let you be you just without them. I honestly believe I do not need to settle to make someone else comfortable about what I have chosen for myself.

Bro spoke straight from my soul. I used to be impulsive and aggressive af and eventually I learned to not give a fuck about nothing. Giving in to impulses and allowing the stress hurts you, not them. Allowing others to make you mad makes you susceptible to manipulation. If THEY the ones that fucked up, why should YOU be mad? I remember when a math tutor told me I needed to stop getting mad about everything and that’s when I started learning to focus on what’s important, what I can control and simply solve my problems. Be the master of your emotions because otherwise people will use them as leashes on you. And impulsive decisions can ruin opportunities. Foresight and patience is the key
