The Fenix CL28R Lantern is a great option to light up you campsite or worksite. A 2000 max lumen white light output, allows you to light up a 160° area up to 190 feet away. The most unique feature is the color dial which allows you to change the color temperature of the light from cool to warm-perfect for night photography and better color rendering. A separate red LED can be independently accessed for tasks where you need to preserve your night vision. The built-in batteries are charged via its USB-C port and the lantern can be used as a power bank to charge other devices. Could not decide between the scangrip nova mini and the ledlenser IF3R...
But now it is clear that I will get none of these and instead I will buy the fenix.
Thanks for your effort you put in your videos! You make a great job!

The stepdown to 860 Lm is disappointing - but mainly because it's advertised as 2000 Lm. If they were honest and just state clearly it has a ~5min turbo mode but otherwise is an 850 Lm light, that would be much better. It is small after all, so isn't going to be 2000Lm for 9h as Fenix deceptively states.

Great review as always sir. I'm going to review the "w5130" keychain COB when it comes in eventually from China. It's like the one you just reviewed however there is NO step down and has a Turbo mode where you can activate the white 450 lumens and the 350 lumens yellow at the same time for a total of around 700 lumens. I'm in the midst of the COB you just reviewed a little more in depth as these are a boon to any tradesmen, handyman, motorists, etc. It also has a 6 LED red function with flash. So even if you never use it, at least it's there if you're stuck at the side of the road. I guess I could also see the Yellow 3000K light have some use inside your home as it would be a little easier on the eyes in a home lantern type of situation. The 6000K is great for doing work but it will strain the eyes after a while.
