I’ve listened to the Jason Ellis show for 15 years now. I hate that they got canned from SXM, I hated it for all the cast of the show. But to say that you can’t afford Kevin sounds like an excuse. I’ve listened to Jason and Tully shit on Kevin for a long time now. And of the two you fire Kevin over Tully? Tully is the driest personality on that show and doesn’t really bring anything more to the table than Kevin did. Maybe the show isn’t doing as good because you guys tried to pick up where you left off at SXM? I was rooting for it, I subscribed to podcasts and patreons but without pandarvis, dingo mondays, Jaimee Foxx and all the games it was really hard to close my eyes and picture the “Jason Ellis show”

Jason and Katie live far above their means and have for some time. Had they been more realistic about their lifestyle, perhaps they wouldn't have run out of money. And to let the 2nd most popular guy on the show go because you can't afford his 20% ( I believe JE didn't report that accurately )???? People are pissed, I don't think they thought they would lose as many listeners but at the end of this billing cycle they are going to find out. I'm gone I have had enough, I could have done without Tully, but without Kevin it's just Awesome world with Tully. He was the one guy I told myself if he ever left then I will too.
I am a big Jason Ellis fan since the first time I heard him on the Ryan Sickler show. He is not afraid to be exactly who he is. Good or bad. I totally understand doubting myself even when I know I am good. He is going to just get bigger and bigger. His kind of honesty is what I want to listen to. I think he is very funny and a great storyteller. I used to listen to the Tony Hawk and Wolf but I am not that focused on skateboarding. So when I saw Ryan Sickler on the Jason Ellis show. I have been watching every episode. I am so excited for Jason and his future. Jason you have a Fan from the beginning I heard you til the end. I will go to your comedy show when you come to Providence or Boston. Also yes I do kind of have a crush but I believe his wife is perfect for him. I would be down for one time with Jason. I think I also would like to have a conversation with him.
Josh should help get Uncle Joey on Jason's show. Jason and Joey could exchange the best drug stories. The best "I was a piece of shit person stories". The best "I'm a beginner MMA person, and I love it" stories.
I do agree with some of the comments on here. I don't dislike Katie or anything but I wonder if her becoming more a part of the show was really a good idea. Maybe her cut is minimal idk. They do seem to live too lavishly if the show is struggling financially. I personally feel like they got away from what they were and that has killed the potential. They were a show that entertained you. Whether it was games or bits, Jason's humorous reactions and improv or just them being funny, I tuned in to be entertained. There is still some but now it's more of a too politically correct talk show about the same niche topics. It's still entertaining at times but not near as consistent.
Oh and I loved Kevin and think the mix was perfect but too many people are suggesting it should of been Tully gone and I don't think that is correct. Tully has been a main part of the show for a lot longer and they got by fine after Rawdog left and it was just the 2. His style and what he brings is more of what works with Jason. And it sure appears to me that Tully does quite a bit of prep material wise for the show. He's the only one really bringing non personal topics to the show that may turn funny. Plus he can steer the show better. I actually questioned whether Kevin was continuing on when they left Sirius. He'll be missed but being a punching bag was his biggest strength it seemed

Did Jason reach out for help? Obviously I’m not there but when he talked about the whole thing the question I kept thinking was did you talk to him. Did you ask hime to do this or that to help? I got the impression it was Jason’s deal and he did it himself his way and didn’t involve the other in much. Jason seemed like the answer was to thrown money at the problem. Could the other helped more maybe, maybe not. I just wonder how much was actually discussed or did he let it fester until it came to this. I feel like both partied could have done more much earlier to help the situation. I know it’s about money but it’s hard to keep hearing I’m broke but I rented a house for my bday. I driver a expensive BMW because my kids friends didn’t like my pink Jeep.
