I met Vellner at the Granite Games this year... Really cool and nice guy. I would love to see him take that top spot at the CrossFit Games!

Watching this in 2023. Pat Vellner is one of the most respected "good-guys" in the game and highly competitive, one of the favorites to podium. Also, Sevan is a big independent name in the space. It's starting to see how much he's grown and improved his interviewing style.
Great podcast! Hope Pvellner comes back again. Sevon asks some really good questions!

The questions are great lol but not everybody likes or is comfortables with them. Patrick seems a little bit tense to me
I think the problem is he interrupts a lot, and then asks too many questions that are also closed questions. They invite to short answers and so the general rhythm of the conversation feels a bit off.
I actually really enjoy Sevan as a host, dont get why most people dont
JAYPLOP he's a hard hitter no diss to CrossFit but he deserves bigger names to interview maybe UFC or even politics

I think that the people who are going after Sevan on this one didn't listen to the others podecasts. I'm pretty sure that you have no idea of what he's doing. Thank you Sevan, for making unconfortable questions and keeping it interesting. Please Crossfit, don't listen to these people!

I'm sure some people enjoy him but I wouldn't want the interviewer representing me. Who could be so disrespectful as to ask about that. Never listening again.

Wow. Who is this interviewer? I couldnt listen more than ten minutes. And then only to watch with admiration as to how Velner acted with composure and benefit of the doubt to these locker boy tones and incredibly disrespectful mysoginistic questions. What a passive aggressive, insecure and out of touch individual. So embarrassing for crossfit to be associated with or represented by him.
