Hi, for 360 degree panorama you have to add exif data to your picture. Projection Type= "cylindrical" Cropped Area Image Width Pixels= "6000" Cropped Area Image Height Pixels= "1433" and etc. I'll add this function to my service 360facebook.com asap
In case anyone still looking in 2022 on how to upload 360 photos with simple way from PC, just download this JPG example to you PC which already has the metadata, then: 1- open example JPG using paint. 2- open your photo and copy it using CTRL+C 3- get back to the example JPG and past your picture here with CTRL+V 4-Save it and upload it to FB. * in case you want to have perfect scale/size since paint can't do scale right, then open your photo first in photoshop and set the size to 6000*3000 before starting with the above steps. I used photoshop but didnt work, only paint worked for me, so you may test it with phosotop and see if it will work or not but it didn't work for me. I created a 360 with Daz 3d Studio and the metadata(fe projection type) has almost nothing there. What to fill in the fields ? These are empty! The ratio is 2 ; 1 , resolution 5120X2560, pixel dept 32 bit), the extension is png
Ok i know why is maybe not working for some of you guys.. I was also having trouble i followed all the instructions and nothing happend but for me the trick was that the photo must have an aspect ratio of 2:1 like 6000x3000 mps or 8000x4000 is how facebook works ..

hi! glad to hear it worked for you. I am not sure if facebook will support other projections. you should try make some sample file with cylindrical projection (in some software like PTGui or any other panorama stitcher) and see newly created file exif to copy projection name..

hmm, you didn't need to download anything to add the metadata, just right-click the properties of the image and change camera properties :D

have you looked into description of video?
because exiftool.exe should be loaded separately and put into C:\Windows
remove ".exe" if your settings are to hide file extentions
Just in case if someone faces the same issue: the '(-k)' should be removed from the file name, so it has to be exactly 'exiftool.exe'
This will work for spherical panoramas, what about cylindrical ones?

When I load the Gpano2, nothing in the workspace changes, im using panoramic photos taken form a samsung galaxy s6.

It´s working, but you must be accurate with the info edit, because whet i set bad parameters, FB don´t want upload picture.

все отлично, все понятно. я делаю проще - делаю фото в google street view и потом можно ее шарить куда угодно. Гугл приводит exif в нужное состояние.

do you get it from ExifToolHUI? if so - try to put your photos into separate folder before processing
