Booker T. was a great guitar player too, and played some of the stuff people thought was Cropper. JD Simo was talking about that in a video with AskZac, I hadn't known Booker T. played guitar! Junior Wells, the great harmonica player, was also a great guitar player, and would show whoever was playing for him EXACTLY how to play it......!
STEVE!! Big Hold Steady fan here. Just saw Steve and the boys last week in DC. ROCK and ROLL baby. Doing Memphis proud - heard some Cropper influences in there
Great video! It really highlights the range of musical tones this amp is capable of. This goes beyond following an amp’s progress in the repair process. This is a reminder of why we love these imperfect tools in the first place. Real. Music.
listening to this on laptop in hospital so had to turn down when you went to 12; will listen again when home: loved the GD lick great all round video thank you both
she really starts talking at the 10 min mark. planning to build myself one of these with less negative feedback and a celestiony speaker. thanks for the wonderful content!
Anyone know who makes a great modern day clone of the Harvard? just an epic amp but dan't deal with a Vintage amp especially as am in Europe (most are 110v)
Mojotone makes a kit for the Vibrolux, which is basically a Harvard with tremolo and a slightly larger cabinet. I have one with a 12” speaker and it sounds glorious! You could get a brown panel Princeton and be pretty close
Man knows his Booker T.! Love me some Steve Cropper.

Awesome playing and great tone!! Harvard and Tele is such a classic Memphis combination. Love it.
Great playing as always and what a glorious sounding little amplifier. Thank you for sharing another work of art.
Great combination of guitar, amp and musian.
Awesome! Thanks Lyle and Steve!
Wonderful job, Lyle. What a tight little jewel this amp is...and you polished it to a lustrous sheen.

One of my all time favourite amps. Thanks so much for sharing.
That sounds superb. Clean and clear and it gets crunchy just enough.
Bloody legends. So much talent in one room.
Nothing quite like a Tele into a tweed. 🤘
Magnificent combination. I really enjoy the tones. Great work Lyle.

You got the amp dialed in. That young man can play. Both sound fantastic.
Good stuff Lyle! The playing sounds great and so does the amp! Good job!
That thing sounded glorious at full bore! That papery gain sound isn’t my thing, but holy crap…
The ultimate combo, combo. I'll take one of each, please :) Cheers from FL! (the amp is so quiet too!)
Fantastic!
Glorious........
Oh yes.

World boogie is coming!
Great example of someone playing an amp as optó playing through one after 30 minutes of twiddling with 12 knobs.
Taaaassssstttttyyyyyyy
Love the neck pickup - is it a Fender?
Lollar, it's shown right at the beginning of the video
@@plumbummusic2051 I guess I was listening and not reading the white text over the white pickguard.

@Steve Selvidge Thanks! Nice playing btw.

Oh My.
Great playing! Did I hear some tube rattle going on?
Edit: saw the note in the video. 👍🏻
