I love the respect you and Skylar have for each other. Divorce is hard and emotions and feelings are there, so for you both to continue to put that aside and co-parent with out bashing the other is such a blessing. Praying for your family. 🙏🙏

We stayed in Jackson Hole when we spent 6 weeks in Utah and adjoining states from the UK. We are vegetarian so really enjoyed shopping in the whole food market and making up picnics.
I can totally relate to Landon’s anxiety of not wanting to play his guitar even in front of his family. I too some 50+ years ago went through the same thing. You’re absolutely right to not pressure him. I’m also thrilled to hear about y’all creating a special schedule just for him in regards to visitation. I love how y’all are really looking and acting upon what’s best for each child vs treating all 7 as if they were one.

Your voice is so calming and your content inspiring😍 Since you mentioned you like to be straight regarding your questions in dating, could you please share in another live, some examples of the questions that you feel are helpful as a single mum dating? What do you base the creation of your questions on (values, current situation,)? I think it can be helpful for another woman. Jaime, when you find the right person, it will be someone who puts his children before you, and the same for you! If you have to cancel because of a sick child, to me he’s a keeper! It might take years but those are the best years making a good friend!

What was the reason for your divorce if you don’t mind answering? I know Skylar isn’t a practicing LDS Mormon anymore, does that have anything to do with it? His trans-sibling and that lifestyle? How do you handle those topics in conjunction with your faith? Interesting dynamics. Thanks for being willing to be vulnerable.❤️
She said in a prior video that Skylar wanted to move to Waco Texas. They had visited, I forget how many times but it was several. They purchased a property Skylar wanted to start a homestead and homeschool the kids. After all of that including purchasing the property, she then she decided she did not want to so she divorced him. I just went back and looked up the video. You can go watch it. how is that any of your business? If they wanted to divulge their reason for the divorce they would have done so back then....
She did reveal the reason in another video. He wanted to move to Texas and homeschool the children. She did not and she realised they wanted different things and were very different people.
She said she welcomed all questions, even those about their divorce. She also asked for people to be KIND, Not RUDE.

Whats going yo happen If you are sealed to Skyler in the temple and you remarry???? Would you have brother husbands??? I don’t understand how that works
Women can't be sealed to more than one man but men can be married to more than one woman. She would have to break her sealing to Skylar if she wanted to be sealed to someone else.. but if Skylar was still apart of the church he could be sealed to someone else while being sealed to Jamie. It's basically eternal polygamy..
If she decides to remarry, she can get a temple divorce and be sealed to another man.

I was pregnant with Quintuplets they wanted me to reduce i chose not to but at 10wks i moss carried three, i am so thankful i didn’t reduce bc i now have healthy 13 yr old twins! If i had reduced it could have been one of twins ❤

You are so open and honest, I love hearing your stories and feelings. You have blossomed as a blogger. You and Skylar are doing a great job co-parenting! Love seeing videos of the kids as well as you by yourself.
I laughed about sitting on the floor. I am 81 with really chronic back pain and problems. Standing very long is really hard and I always get in pain and if I don’t take a break, gets worse. The relief I get when folding laundry is sitting on the floor. I do not hurt at all when sitting in certain positions. I assumed Jamie was just comfortable sitting in the floor. Most older homes don’t have recessed lighting. We have it in our rec room but in my kitchen have some great fluorescent lighting that I leave on 24/7. I also got the under cabinet lighting that is motion detected. I am enjoying that. Sorry I changed the subject. Jamie, I watched you last week sitting on the floor folding my laundry😂I also have lots of lamps.
Sitting on the floor may be easy, but getting UP off the floor can be tough!

As a person who came from a broken family, i can say that divorce is 100% not better for the children. Unless it is a toxic abusive relationship, then of course it is the better choice, but working through issues and being together for the children is a much better choice. I still have anxiety and issues from my parents divorcing when i was 6 and i am now 55.
There are plenty of children that grew up in a household where the tension between their parents created ongoing problems for them as well. I don’t think it’s as simple as you say.
I hear you @angelheart6457 and validate your feelings. I am sorry for this great pain you have. Yes, divorce happens, just like lots of painful things do - AND our children deserve to have their parents to show them what it means for 2 people to invest absolutely ALL they have to work out the hard things in life, getting all the help they can before choosing divorce - with only the exception for abuse cases. I absolutely extend grace because humans are fallible beings. We answer to God alone, and I must also hold this truth for marriages everywhere. God grant us all grace to live for Him!
no staying together for the kids is not a reason to not divorce.
No, it’s not better to grow up with two unhappy parents together rather than have two separate, happy households.
This type of mindset is what keeps people feeling trapped in a sad, loveless marriage. It’s always better for the kids to have happy parents!!!
Also, therapy can assist with childhood issues. That might be helpful since you’re still facing issues.
I guess when one wants to leave the Mormon Church & the other doesn't, is a reason for a divorce to be allowed.
I did the same. I told my kids they have a daddy. Sometimes they have a tendency to try to parent your children. I’m still single at 62. I too felt we did better as a family apart. It really hurt my oldest and her dad has really hurt her. Momma sometimes gets the brunt of this. My kids turned out great🎉🎉🎉

You are not only a great mom you are beautiful. How you do you not lose it when you have 5 little ones not getting along? Without the faith you have you would not have been able to get through the trials you were faced with. In this day & age people seem to get very angry , & you lose them as friends if you don't agree with them about religion or politics, and that is so sad. I lost my husband July 2019 & I still miss him. We were married over 47 years & yes I get lonely but only for him. I am to old to start over again, nor do I want to.

I was married 15 years together 20. We were together as teenagers. I have custody of my five children. Its been four years and I haven't dated yet. The dating pool is so so scary. How do you decide it is safe? How do you trust? How do you know they're not lying? It has been a dumpster fire for me. I haven't made it passed texting before it turns me away scared. I love that you are accommodating to your children as individuals. I love that you aren't pressuring Landon to play guitar in front of people and you are giving him the schedule that he needs. My mom forced me to do a talent show when I had zero desire to perform in front of others. It was traumatizing!! 😢
They have an indoor swimming pool in Jackson hole that's amazing and so much fun for the kids.

My daughters and I have Latex fruit allergy syndrome. It includes many fruits, melons, avocados kiwi and all kinds of nuts. Only one of us reacts to latex. Check it out on line. It seems too include many of the things your kids react to.
How do you feel about all the criminal cases with the LDS church? I know there are extremes in every religion . I do love your channel , but I do worry about all the weirdos and you putting your children out there? I do think you are a beautiful Mom.

Jaime, you do not owe anyone any explanations for why you chose divorce. People might be curious or nosy but it is none of their business! Even close family members. Perhaps you feel it therapeutic to share or feel it is necessary to clear up rumors, but at the end of the day it is your life to live and only need to worry about what is best for you and your children. I just noticed repeat videos on this topic. Please don't feel guilty for choosing divorce if you felt that was for the best. Your church makes it difficult to not feel that way, and being a divorcee in a family oriented church can be difficult.
I think when you get on these social media sites and you are making money from them you open yourself to all of this and you do owe your audience more info…..they started it so there you have it

Spiritual freedom is a wonderful gift to give your children. I left the religion of my childhood and found a different path. My dad taught me critical thinking and gave me this freedom. My son left the religion I brought him up in and I'm grateful to realize that giving another spiritual freedom is the best way to love someone.
