About Cole & Charisma:
Welcome to the official Roll with Cole & Charisma UA-cam channel! Since the start of our relationship we've gotten a lot of questions about our experiences as not only an interracial couple, but an interabled one as well. I'm 36 and perpetually single, with an invisible disability similar to autism. This gives me hope that my person may be out there somewhere. We definitely need more videos like this!

Same, I feel like it's harder when it's invisible, like people are taken aback when they see something unusual and they think I'm a weirdo or purposefully mean or something.

Charisma - you are an inspiration! You teach continually how to love fully and deeply. I am a widow since 2022. My husband and I were married for 54 years. We had a very successful marriage but ups and downs for sure. My deepest regret is that I did not use every moment to affirm him and to appreciate his amazing attributes. You are such a model of this deep and accepting love. I wish that I had had your example earlier.
Cole is darn loveable so that is inspirational in itself.
My only advice is to continue daily appreciating the wonderful life you two share together. Thank you for your podcasts!

I met My boyfriend at a summer camp for people with disabilities we met in 2018 we were best friends for 4 years and we got together on October 23rd 2022 we've been together for almost 2 years

@@coleandcharisma you're welcome guys I really don't mind telling that story because it's a great story and it's our story and honestly I had no idea that I would ever fall in love with him it just happened 4 years later when I met him I just thought of him as a friend I just thought of him as a friend the whole time but all of a sudden I just fell for him actually what really happened was I asked him out like I asked him to be my boyfriend one time and he rejected me and then I waited and then I asked him again and he said yes after he stopped beating around the bush I actually had to push the answer out of him because he was beating around the bush he said that he always liked me and I asked him why he didn't ask me out I guess he was just nervous but we're together now and we're happy we've been in a long-distance relationship and trust me it's been hard but we fight through it and we go through it we get through it and get through it we go through obstacles and we defied beat the odds we continue to defy the odds because we refuse to give up on each other one time I felt like giving up and throwing in the towel I almost broke up with him but I realized that I couldn't because he's the love of my life is everything I've been searching for and everything I ever wanted and more he's the man of my dreams and the love of my life and if I didn't have him I would be alone for the rest of my life because I would never be able to love another and I would be kicking myself for letting him go and I would be heartbroken and shattered he changed my life he made me a happier person he's so happy so positive so full of life and so loving he makes me want to be a better person he pushes me to be a better person everyday he's so patient with me I don't think he ever gets mad at me haha 😂
Not only has he made me a happier person he's also made me a better person he pushes me to be better but he does it with love and tenderness he doesn't verbally abuse me he doesn't put me down he speaks to me with love he brings meaning in my life before in my life was meaningless and I feel like my life was pointless I felt nothing nothing but sadness and hurt and I was always in the darkness I've been through so much in my life that has caused me to be in a depressed state but God sent me a beautiful wonderful man who gives me peace and love

I'm also a C-5 complete quadriplegic but I was in rehab 37 years ago, when patients would spend four months in rehab. During that time, my primary nurse and I got to know each other well and got very close. I didn't marry her but we did become a couple after I was discharged from rehab and stayed together romantically for a couple of years. We remain platonic friends to this day.

Liked the honest dialogue between Cole and Charisma. It is so great that they found in each other a partner whereby they can relate and act as their authentic selves. Their video clips not only help couples support each other medically and physically but emotionally as well. God bless them both. 💖😊

I have seen ALL your videos so I remember the one from how you two met, it was so cute! Now you two recall it like married people do, still sweet. I've noticed like all mom's/grandmas do how much you have changed in looks too. I am so glad that in the retelling Carisma took time to briefly mention her past dating life. I wish she spent more time talking about it. Sometimes in these How We Met stories it is centered on Cole and we spend most of the time talking about Cole’s concerns/inseurities; Carisma’s journey is very important too.
Still one of my favorite love stories. Loved the detail that Momma Kelly was not only a wingman-it culminates with the fact that she was a part of the proposal. ❤❤

So glad you two are still going strong. I met my late boyfriend of 16 yrs online the old school way in a yahoo chat room. After we met in 2001 we realized we had probably crossed paths many times growing up, going to the same mall, etc. I really believe things happen for a reason and when you know you know the right person has come along. No way!!! I met my now handsome husband in the hospital as well. We met 1994 then married 2001 and just celebrated our 21st anniversary in Las Vegas and got remarried by famous Reverend Wolfe at The wedding chapel almost two years ago.
we were both walking when we met. he has been quadriplegic since 2019 and now i’m wheelchair bound. We were both at the alter in our wheelchairs.
