Hey Big Dave, At FIRST, I was a bit worried. But THEN, later in the video, you appeared with full audio. We were relieved and glad to have you back ! I ate at a T & T hot food counter near the Beaches in Toronto once. Of course, this was a few years ago and the price was maybe $9 or $10 tops. It was pretty good, though and better than a fast food burger...
@len6482 I did get a chance to try a donut a few weeks before they opened. It was at Kyle's, it was part of a chicken sandwich. I'm going to go and give it a proper try soon. Thanks for watching and commenting
The hot food counter at the London location is garbage. I thought the Kitchener one was thin, but nope. The London one is 2/3’s the selection of Kitchener. I can’t remember if it is the Markham or Mississauga location. It’s been a long time since I went to either. But it’s double the size and selection of Kitchener. But being in the heart of GTA. I avoid T&T and hit up small local businesses instead (BbQ shops and bakeries)
I keep hoping to see you around town...so when some weirdo stranger yells at you "Hey Dave! I've been watching you!!" There's no need to call law enforcement...it will just me....a faithful watcher. (P.S. I keep illegal, contraband plastic drinking straws in my glovebox...so if I see you and you have a drink...I'll give you one...I too cannot drink from what is essentially a small toilet paper roll...boo to paper straws!🧃)
Here in Newfoundland we have NOTHING like that. If you want Asian foods you go to a restaurant. They do have a deli and or hot food counter at Dominion (Loblaws in NL) or Sobeys, but not a lot of selection. Gotta go with what sells I guess. 30 - 35 years ago Sobeys had a salad bar on site but that died fast. Again it didn't sell, so it had to go. Hope there is enough sales in London to keep this going, but your city almost equals our provincial population, so that will help.
Such a gwei lo. Sticky rice and the steamed shrimp dumplings are the best. Looks like there is a new whole boxed fried chicken product they were selling: looked good. And an entire hot pot soup section now.
@@theworstfoodreviewchannel Gwei Lo means white ghost. It is supposed to be an insult. I do not get too offended, but then I have not heard it in awhile. Well, I AM A GWEI LO TOO. Let others deal with it.
@@theworstfoodreviewchannel It's in no way an insult. It's a whole conversation, with a huge subtext, especially when your Chinese GF calls you one. Then when she finds the fish sauce in your fridge or your competency with chopsticks, you become a rare item. You need to do Mongolian hot pot. It's amazing and it will blow your mind.
T&T has Asian food brands and stock but it’s owned by Loblaws.

Glad I didn't let you down. And yeah, it's hard to beat that for price.
We carry a 1000 pack of Amazon plastic straws in car!
Need to try this place out. Have you tried Balboni's Donuts?

I had their General Tao at their Ottawa location and it's pretty decent for their hot food line.
The one in Ottawa is good. I love it.
@garbonratslayer1387 it's a fun place
