I was in a Christian Rock band called Heaven Axe in the late '80's/early '90'smplaying around central Florida. We played this small club in Leesbug and another Christian band was playing that night called Angelica. They were up and coming at the time and could have easily acted stand off-ish to us, a freshly starting out band. But they were very cool to us.
Frank Glover Awesome! Yep, that's them! I couldn't remember the guitarists name. Bryan Blumer, that's them. I have a picture of me and my band backstage at that club I commented about with the singer/bass player. I believe it was Bryan that snapped the picture. I'd love to share it if I knew how to do it on UA-cam. Otherwise, I'd have to send it by email or something. Just wish I had one of us with the whole band. There were a few bands playing that night and I remember when we took the stage, Bryan and the bassist/singer (can't remember his name) were right up front against the stage encouraging us and cheering us on. Cool dudes. And yes, they were better than this Angelica.
@TheAxe4Ever Dude I was at that show! It was at the Rialto theater in Leesburg! I still have the setlist buried in a box somewhere. Weren't you guys called Heaven's Lathe?
I found this song/video/band on a VHS tape I had in the 90s called Hot Metal 4 that had Vengeance Rising, Deliverance, and other metal bands. This didn’t really “fit”…but I loved it upon the first listen!!
@@user-MetalAngel Hot Metal 4 VHS was a compilation of Intense/Frontline records artists. Unfortunately that the only video of Angelica. Has other artists like Ken Tamplin, Ransom, Deliverance, Vengeance Rising etc. Believe me, I wish Angelica had more videos. Walkin’ In Faith is definitely their best album with Rock Stock and Barrel a strong second! I have converted the VHS to DVD.
Lovin’ the Mr Big video kinda vibe. The guy even has a Mr Big t-shirt on. It’s a very catchy song. I still sing this song in my car. This would be fun for karaoke.

Love the songs, but for me it’s not worth my time to listen to you channel. You have commercials in between songs that run up to 20minutes or more. I’m better off just playing my own mix.
Always nice to come back to Angelica!
Angelica 'Walkin' In Faith' is rockin'. Love that album.
Amen. I hear ya on that one. It's awesome.
I love angelica. One of the most underrated christian rock bands. I love drew baca. Great singer. Rock. Stock and barrel wad a great album!

Did you ever play with Phil's band Crusade?
That wouldn't be very Christian of them, glad they were cool!!

It would be nice if you still had the vintage VHS Tape, cause you could convert to digital and post the videos. Maybe could find it on eBay.
I have that VHS. Believe you can find the videos and interviews individually on UA-cam
@@stevescoolstuff126 Cover Me is the only one I have found. Does the VHS tape have any songs from the Walkin' In Faith album?

@@stevescoolstuff126 Oh, OK.
He's no Tommy Karevik of Seventh Wonder but their album was always played in my car cassette player in the early 90s on my long commute to college.

I don't remember the guys in this video looking like smurfs... The tint is jacked up
The T-Shirt says it all...they wanted to be the Christian "Mr. Big" :) How do you think they did?
That's helpful I've got a list going on thepetrazone.net and I'll add that to their section😉 www.thepetrazone.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=57702
