Tim, hello my friend! Great busking with your mate! Tokyo Japan! Wow, never know where you'll pop up! Lol. Sending positive vibes your way. Peace love dream's!🇨🇦 💞📷🌐🎥🎭🎸🎵⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌅🌍💚🌎💜🌏🌄✌🏼💗☁️🎬😉
blimey mate you got a set of pipes. really impressive. I just knew they wouldn't let this stuff fly in Japan though. I still search specifically for it lol
Joey Ferris Tbh all the info that I saw was in Japanese online so was kinda winging it. I don’t like to do this but was almost constantly moved by police
Tim Newman A simple google will yield a lot of info. It is technically not legal to busk in Japan without a permit (especially if amplified) and each permit pertains to districts. The police often ignore street performances unless they are congesting walkway traffic by drawing a crowd and/or are too loud. You can often request a copy of the codes of law in English from a local law enforcement agency/embassy. I’m very glad you got to visit such a beautiful country and I hope the cultures you observed will positively affect your creative output, but I suggest trying hard to do your part to not step on other people’s toes when you are a guest in someone else’s home. I really enjoyed your performances in the video but being an artist doesn’t make it more excusable to ignore the steps that must be taken for considerate intercultural communication.
do u not get busking permission first or whatever it is? also i recommend going to hongdae in seoul south korea, hongdae is like the land of busking lol.
Police in New York City while busking in subway : " Yea buddy ya can't do that shit here, it's New Year's Eve bud". Police in Japan: No no no no, umm eh no no no no
Hi Tim I'm visiting Tokyo next year. In the end was it possible to busk in Tokyo without a permit? I've seen some videos japanese people busking at that same spot at Shinjuku station. Maybe it's allowed there?
you can get like a permit and stuff apparently so the police don't bother you as much but i mean prob not so much nowadays with covid but in the future
@@TimNewman1 If I see one guy out hustling for a living, talented, I would have be more inclined to want to support him (with money). I can't really put my finger on just why.

Nah😪
I think metal Screams not fit for me😁
Maybe just me; but I would tend to drop money in the till if there was only a solo act.
What do you mean ??
Thanks, Tim

What would really matter is; did you get as much in the till with both of you singing as you would going solo?
Wes Denham okay, I hear you! It make sense. It was good !!
Wes Denham I don’t remember exactly how good “financially” it was tbh
