That was a really cool kid question and answer from both of you. I like how Josh pointed out that Jesus took His body when He left! What a great testimony regarding favor! I think that is an example of exactly how favor works. Its not an entitlement attitude, but its one of child-like faith. Its when we align our hearts with Yahweh being a benevolent God who wants to bless us that opens the door for that favor. When we realize that all good things come from above and open our hand to receive, if faith, He's right there to put something in it! I do agree that this isn't just about monetary things. I think we can get dependent on what is in the bank account, instead of our Heavenly Father being provider. He wants to provide in the moment that we have a need or desire, because that is how relationship works. I have had quite a few moments of synchronicity lately. I think synchronicity is another type of favor we can experience. There was one for me when Kimb was talking about our capitalist society and the thought of gain for one must mean lack for another. I was having this discussion in my heart with Holy Spirit yesterday using the same exact words, asking how this could be different down here. What I got was that heaven on earth means there isn't any lack for anyone. In Heaven's economy, everyone knows where their provision is from and credit is always given to Yahweh and that means we can be entrusted to handle more. When love rules, everyone is in abundance because they all want to give and when we give it creates more, like rivers of overflow. That is how Heaven operates. When we depend upon our own resources and abilities, we cut short the blessings that we could be receiving.from above and part of this is because self-reliance makes one stingy. To me, this is what sin really is, it is thinking that we are separate from Yahweh and others, that we have to compete and work to get something. In reality, we can live without working, because what we do stems from love when we live in union. We do what we do out of overflow, not striving. Thank you for the great conversation! Blessings!
