    I received a Nespresso machine as a house gift, and I came here to check why the Nespresso machine I have is so loud. According to this video, it is actually the quietest 😅 of them all

      Yeah I’ve not come across one that’s quieter than the essenza mini yet 😅 Maybe a Nanopresso if you’ve seen those.

    Well I have two machines and love them both, this was a really interesting video and surprising as well, I have to say I love the sound of the machines as it means great coffee is on its way😄. Thanks very much.

      Yeah our house is quite a noisy one so it's never really occurred to us before reading the comments. You do quickly forget the sound when you're sipping a nice coffee after don't you 👍

    I am researching for the idea of more watery outputs on the essenza. Here I notice very big diffences in the beverage of the machines, as well as the brewing times.
    Also it seems, that the creatista pro has the fastest brew time...

      It’s funny you know as I spent quite a bit of time one day setting them all up to pour the same amount of water but can’t remember if it was before or after this video. How do you find your Essenza Martin? Does it pour the exact same amount each time of does it vary a bit?

    Tx, very good and informative review! And I should have checked this before we bought our 2nd Nespresso machine, being a Pixie.. Noisy as hell ! :-(

      Thanks for that but sorry to hear it came a bit too late for you. The Pixie does seem to be a nice sturdy machine, though, which you should get a good few years out of... If not a little loud.

    Wish i watched this before switching my machine to pixie. Disturbing noise if you are living with kids and wake up early, pixie will be a disturbance. We had essenza mini and as the video suggests, it was a very quiet machine. Thinking of sending pixie back.. so sad

    Interesting as usual, however what about the quality of the coffee from each machine and/or capsule type? I find Essenza Mini very watery. It would be interesting to see if you could detect a difference yourself between the machines regarding coffee taste. (Just another idea).

      did you try to reset it? all the nespresso machines should make 40ml espresso, I tried mini and creatista plus at nespresso shop at the same time but I think it quite similar.

    • @Investor_2000
      @Investor_2000 4 роки тому +1

      cy t , yes reset ✅. It’s more about the design of the machine, there is a black corrugated tube where the head that punches the coffee pod appears from, the corrugation captures and holds quite a fair bit of water from previous coffee, it makes the next coffee watery. (Krups model).

    Hi, Interesting video. I seemed to me that some machines sounded worse (rather than louder according to the app) I'm curious to know if your findings via the app agreed with what you felt about the various machines. Which one would you prefer to use regularly from a noise point of view?
    I have a feeling that I'd be more interested in what you thought (using your ears) on the day, did you basically agree with what the app was telling you?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah pretty much agreed to be honest. Just taking noise into account the essenza mini is far and away the quieter machine and pretty functional for such a cheap and compact machine.

  • @MaddinKi
    @MaddinKi 4 роки тому +1

    for me, the Essenza Mini is the quietest, followed by the Creatista Pro. For me (!) its not only the noise when the pressure reaches maximum, for me is the peak of noise important, which ist most of the time the start of the pump.
    The Essenza Mini is soft on, you hear 3-4 steps on start, ans also the Creatista pro sounds quite well, where the creatista plus struggles with a quite loud intro 🥴

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 роки тому

      Yeah it’s amazing how much quieter the pro is than the plus given it’s the bigger machine. The plus is like a train setting off but it does make a hot coffee I have to say 👍🏼

    • @MaddinKi
      @MaddinKi 4 роки тому

      A2B Productions sadly Nespresso seems to bring it not together in the machines. And I am wondering that there is a difference in coffee temperature between plus and pro.
      I consider to buy a Creatista Uno .... here in Germany not available from Nespresso itself, I like the single button coffee preparation a lot, but I fear it is as loud as your plus.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 роки тому +1

      Thinking of getting hold of a Creatista Uno to review, so will let you know how loud it is if I do Martin.

    Hi! Firstly, your videos are very helpful, really aided on deciding which machines to purchase.
    Secondly, we need your advise, so our Citiz Chrome is barely a month old, and we noticed instantly when we turned it on that it makes this hissing or buzzing sound when you plug it in the outlet regardless if the machine is on or off.
    Thirdly, we also bought Barista Recipe Maker (same combination as per your recommendation in other video ☺️), it’s really good by the way; but, suddenly after 3 weeks of usage, the whisker is out of place when we choose options which require faster whirl - like espresso con panna etc.....
    Any thoughts? 🙏

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 роки тому

      Hi there. Thanks for that and glad the videos have helped. With the machine noise, mine doesn’t do that so may be worth ringing Nespresso to discuss it, as they’ve always fixed items under warranty when I’ve needed it. With the Barista Maker the espresso con panna is the one drink it’s never made properly for me and other subscribers have mentioned it too. Have you been able to make the con panna up to now or was it the first time you tried? I got it to sort of work once by being quick and setting it off just after putting the lid on (the idea was to stop too much cream from going under the whisk) but it still wasn’t the best result. I haven’t questioned Nespresso on that as we only really use it for chocolate and iced drinks but again probably best to chat to their telephone team as I find them a lot more helpful than the online chat team.

    • @briseisorange6025
      @briseisorange6025 4 роки тому +1

      @@A2BProductions Hey, so finally they were able to replace the whisk on the Barista Maker, and it works amazingly now... the Nespresso Team commented that the magnet mechanism on the previous whisk may have become damaged, also they recommended not to wash the parts in the dishwashing machine just to be careful, though except the jug and cover (without the rubber) since these are sturdy enough. While, the coffee machine, apparently, all Citiz Chrome model has buzzing noise on it because of it's "panels" - that's what they said, so they replaced it with Silver one... now my question, have you experienced from Nespresso replacing your machine? If yes, is the replacement "new - like from box" or is it slightly used? Because, our's had the water container scratched and clearly the capsule storage was stained from previous usage...sadly, it came not cleaned at all.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 роки тому

      Thanks for updating! Good info to have in case I get asked the same in future. Why bother with a Chrome model at all you'd think wouldn't you. As for the replacement machines I've never had one so not sure. Might be worth asking them to see what they say. I know they have used 'borrow' machines that get sent out while yours is being repaired and have had people saying that theirs has arrived in an unclean condition but not too sure about the replacement ones.

    I didn’t notice if you reset your dB meter between each test? Also, was your metering done at the same distance and angle from the test unit with all tests?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  4 роки тому +1

      I didn’t reset it as we just judged the measurements off the middle variable dial each time. Did my best to keep it fair yes 👍🏼 Just trying time give people a general idea and the measurements did match up with what we could hear and hopefully what you guys could hear.

    Nice video. We noticed that the Creatista Plus makes a "burring" noise of 3 / 4 seconds when it switches off after 10 minutes(auto off). Does this happen with your machine as well? Nespresso explained it has to do with the steampipe but I'm not convinced.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah ours does do that too. Have been asked the same question off a few people so don't think we have dodgy machines 😅 Could very well just be deactivating the steam wand at the auto-off point.

    Why didn’t you include Atelier in your comparison test?
    And one more question, are you planning to compare Atelier with another coffee machines and compare Atelier with Barista maker?

    What's the sound app called? I'll try my Essenza as it sounds more like Pixie.
    As other poster said, relative distance and position of unit can make big difference.
    Btw, every +3dB is double loudness. -3dB is half loudness.
