    What a great device for foil balloons! I'm just starting to create balloon art and love your videos! Where can I order this product?

      Hi Tisha, glad you liked the shows!
      We have a number of helium inflators on our website, the auto-fill that fits to a BOC cylinder can be found here: www.balloonmarket.co.uk/helium/helium-accessories/boc-accessories/auto-filling-kit-with-gauge-for-boc-cylinders-1
      If you're outside the UK, then we recommend contacting your local Qualatex supplier!

    Very good video Greg and Mark! This was a very good demonstration to show people why people should use the auto foil inflator. I have been in lots of small balloon businesses and found that they use latex inflators for everything. Thanks.

      Glad you liked the video Matthew! Yes we find that people are usually not aware of the damage a latex inflator can do to a foil balloon!

    Oh my goooood. That’s how is works? I use mine all the time and get impatient wait for it to slowly fill up the foil. But know I understand how and why. Good info. Thanks

    I recently purchased 9” foil balloons from a store (filled with helium) and they lasted absolutely ages! However I’ve been looking around for foil balloons to stock and they are all claiming they are ‘air filled’ only. Can you clarify if I can fill with helium or not? I’m looking to get smaller foil balloons nothing bigger than 9”. Thanks

      Hi Maro, When we say air-fill only we really mean they won't float with helium. They can still be filled with helium but are unlikely to float so most people would air fill them to save on helium costs.
      Did your 9 inch balloons float then?

    • @marocookie9092

      Yes they did! It was 9” foil balloons and they lasted over a week!

    I do not have an auto cut off valve yet as I have just started and wonder what tips there are for inflating to a correct pressure, at the moment I am just using the valve thats supplied and am careful so no pops but the foils dont float for long

    • @BalloonMarket
      @BalloonMarket  5 років тому

      Hi Jeff! We highly recommend the auto cut-off, it's a really great piece of kit! If you are just using a normal inflator we would recommend leaving the foil balloon slightly "squishy" - if the balloon is solid, it is too full. You want to leave a little room for helium to expand.

      @@BalloonMarket thanks, I have an idea like that after watching so many video instructions especially on this channel. I observe the inflated foils in different temperatures and understand your explanations.

    What’s the difference between 99% pure helium to 60/40? How does it effect my balloons & will it provide lift if I wanted to use it for *SCIENCE!*

      Like Bass, I'm interested to know.
      Thank you BM in advance for the answer, and thanks for all the great videos!

    • @BalloonMarket
      @BalloonMarket  6 років тому

      Hi Bass Junkie! If you had a set volume of gas, 99% helium would mean there would be 1% of that gas that wasn’t helium. 60/40 is 60% helium and 40% other gases like oxygen and nitrogen. The more helium you have, the more lift a balloon will have. 60/40 provides just enough lift to get the balloon in the air but it won’t float for as long as if it was filled with pure helium for instance.
      Hope this helps!

    Perfectly useless information. You could have shown how to insert the spout into the balloon, that's the issue I'm having. All this is-just a commercial for products and not a very good commercial at that.
