Albo, I’m so happy for you. Some cool Easter eggs I’ve found in the FL5 (1) under the centre armrest mat insert there’s a picture of the original civic (2) disabling the factory sat nav boosts the speed of the infotainment a fair bit (3) you can pull the fuse for the active exhaust to make the centre baffle stay open (4) you can replace the ADS unit with the Integra ADS unit and it rides so much better and for me handles better as a street car. Can’t recommend this enough.

I can endorse on the ITS module swap and fuse active open. Both make the car way better for cheap.
I just completed a 7k mile road trip around USA with my new Type R and it was the perfect companion! Crushed highway miles, so much fun on mountain passes, tons of storage. I can’t imagine doing it in anything else.

Those carbon parts make the interior so much better. When I took mine from the dealer last year with these parts it was just a difference. My crz is a good daily car but this is till this day just perfect. At this time I added Mugen group A parts for the exterior and now it’s just the cherry on top. Mine is black. It’s definitely a good choice to bought this car.
Definitely convinced me into carbon interior panels and a set of visors for my CW FL5! Looks really good. Can’t wait to see more dope content Albo!

I enjoy Albo's content better. The 4K makes a huge difference, I can't understand why Dustin uploads in 1080p still. It's 2024 not 2014.
He uploads rather regularly. Probably easier to work with in 1080. Less memory, less render times, less upload times especially in Japan
@@Shakeem As do a lot of other automotive UA-camrs that only have 4k content. We live in times where devices have a lot more storage and the upload times are negligible, it's not like you have to pause everything you are doing to watch it upload the file. Large 4k TV's are very common now, and the picture quality difference is quite staggering and obvious between the two.

Unpopular opinion: the silver touches on the interior (specially the center console) give a nice contrast to the dark trims. Give it a Few years people will be swapping back 😅

i own both and EV and a bunch of gas cars. EV is very inconvenient for long trips or in case of emergencies/ last minute things and dont have enough charge. i charge my car over night which i still dont fully trust to leave an ev charging over night so i leave it as far as possible from my house to charge. gas is still most reliable and economic
That’s why I sold my IX and got G81 M3T instead
the only EV I would remotely consider to have fun with is the Hyundai Ioniq 5N. It's also the last car Albert Biermann (former BMW M High Performance Development if my memory serves me right) helped to develop before his retirement

My sister has the same car shown at min.38.40 but full black wheels...as I configured for her 😂...guess who drives it the most? 😁It is actually quite nice to drive those 500s and surprised how solid they are!

I wish i could get one, but sadly there is a big emission tax included on this already really expensive car with an MSRP of 66k€ in europe. I'm driving a GR86 now which is also pretty nice, but the FL5 Type R really would be my dream car as a one car solution. Oh well, maybe there will be a opportunity to get a used one a few years down the line.
