WhatCulture seems to be the only ones really hung up on the IF Shane McMahon were to sign with AEW it would be as a wrestler.
If they did, the best use of him would be to have him come out for maybe 3 weeks in a row to get the TV ratings pop and then he is made booker and on screen authority figure for RoH to build that brand up.

I think if Shane O Mac showed up on AEW, it would bring eyes to both products. People will tune in to see Shane on AEW n watch WWE to see their reaction.

Wiser heads? Do they have them there? TK has booked his company in to the ground, the bucks have never booked anything other than tables for dinner before aew and omega is a fucking clown.

Second I saw the news of this, I said that Shane is gonna take over booking and running ROH so TK can concentrate on AEW stuff. I don't think he's gonna wrestle...not gonna make stables or anything. It's just him taking control of ROH. Could be wrong tho.
That last line was perfectly said. I watch these side videos from WCW (WhatCultureWrestling) for this exact reason. Just to pass the time at my second job at the end of the day, but with some fun. Thank you all!

So, about the video itself: Give Shane a way to win control over RoH, or even collision (only in kayfabe, cuz we know what happens otherwise), and make a real brand war. Cuz you could have AEW vs WWE(kinda) on AEW TV, and I think, if thought through, and if given enough time and attention, it could work wonders. But maybe that's just me, and other people don't think it could work, or that it could be interesting, even if it did. Idk, please chime in, no matter what your opinion is, cuz I wanna hear different views on this. Thanks in advance.

I actually like this idea. Shane can recruit guys who have barely been used into his faction and go against TK, starting a civil war. TK can later ban Shane and his guys from Dynamite, leading to Shane taking over Collision. Once one of his guys in his faction (preferably Ricky Starks) wins the International title, and someone else wins the FTW title, the Trios, International, and FTW belts will only be defended on Collision. This will cause a brand split, with TK booking Dynamite and Shane booking Collision.
He should have no time in a wrestling ring unless it's for promo work or to put someone else over who absolutely needs the attention on them from being across from Shane McMahon. The best thing that he can do instead is to help create a new storyline with great stakes that will help AEW overall. And the way to do that is behind the scenes or by inserting himself into the TK vs the EVPs storyline.
Yeah. I think at this stage, with the baggage of his last run, of his name, he seems prime to be this kind of heel outsider authority figure. Maybe a stable head, that (theoretically but never in practice) could go in the ring to some degree, or at least, go against TK. Heck, maybe that's the tack - paint him as the polar opposite of TK - someone who can get physically, someone who craves the limelight and inserts himself into things as much as possible (or at least, in a more direct self-serving way versus TK's "I'm the biggest fanboy" way).
Heck, if he really really really wants one last run, set it up so the blow off match has him getting thrown off a cage to feed that part of him. And then call it day in-ring wise as the big bad dragon is defeated.
Outside the shows, he can bring business experience and backstage experience. Help wrangle people and provide structure, cause as much as one may or may not like TK and AEW, it's backstage is currently much more shakey than WWEs, even if it is a relative scale. Assuming he's on solid terms with Bryan, Jon, Edge, and Jericho, he might add a good piece to the backstage leadership puzzle, maybe adding a bit more stability with less appearance of stealing the limelight.

Shane feels like he should either join the Elite or start his own faction. As you pointed out, starting his own faction does mean AEW can pull from their massive roster and give some guys something to do.
Why are we talking about Shane on TV? He's far more valuable to that company in an office roll

Shane isn't signing as a wrestler. He would likely come in as an owner. Some say Shane is helping Vince McMahon buy an interest in AEW. This has WCW buyout vibes all over it

Best thing to do with shane is turn him into someone that's going to buy aew and take it away from khan. So khan creates his faction then pit it against shane's faction. The winner owns aew.
